crashes when opening any website (doesn't load just crashes). and some sites open duplicates when multitasking between Apps, settings for the browser non-existent, no customisation whatsoever. I thought it was reliable but after a week or two it showed how much work is still needed on this app. Not recommended at all.
Reviews for Norton Private Browser
← Back to Norton Private BrowserI use this browser for my computers, which I find very safe and secure. I decided it would be wise to also use it on my mobile phone.
It has a virus that I can not remove. I've tried everything except un-installing it and re-installing it. I am going to un- install it, though. I'm too tired of this nonsense. I'm glad I'm terminal!
most comprehensive virus app on the market. From top to bottom.I guess that's why they call it 360. They keep adding value to this software. Always adding new helpful tools.
this app has been shutting down sites on me all day today, I noticed it was updated yesterday, had encountered this issue previously Now for a 2nd day it is crashing constantly, again did not have an issue prior to the update
Any web browser that uses Bing and doesn't even bother to set up local apps on its home page (Amazon US instead of Amazon UK) is really not bothered about its users. Uninstalled.
keeps crashing going to reload or get latest updates.
I don't like the layout. I would prefer different links than the ones that are in there by default. I tried to add one of the apps I prefer but it wouldn't stick. I tried on 2 or 3 days to get the app to stick to the page but it doesn't work.
keeps closing when I try to open and use it.
Most secure and Functional Application. Thanks to Development Team Members.
The app mysteriously disappeared from my phone with all the tabs I had saved and had open. It was my default browser! Was my phone hacked or did the Chrome browser over rude something? WHY? Explain to me in non tech terms. I wonder if Norton can or should still be trusted with my other paid tech security?🤔
downloaded nicely. Taking the browser for a test drive. Recently had a few bugs or malware from. insecure Wi-Fi.
I'm learning a lot about all this now we're in the that type thing from my experience I've had experience for feathery security outfits Norton's on top of it all can you take my word for it and if it don't work you got to pay attention to them because they know what's up and they've been telling me what's up and that's what I'm learning
slow to open anything. QR codes attached to websites do not load. when looking stuff up, all I get is a black screen. I was trying to sign up for a newsletter with the Star Tribune, and the browser would not let me. Decided to remove the browser. it doesn't work, so there is no need to keep it. It's more frustrating than helpful.
Good but you have not changed Google Chrome parading as a Yahoo browser. This is something you have to correct so you can stand up to your reputation. I am very upset that you have not resolved this issue since I talked to your team member about 3 months ago!
Good looking browser, and good idea in principle but unfortunately it doesn't work with Bitwarden, unlike DuckDuckGo. Also, why make some things so complicated? For example, there's no button to quickly add a site to the speed dials. Instead I have to manually copy an URL and then manually add it. Also, there's no option to import my bookmarks from my current browser. Will keep it installed for now and hope future updates will fix these elements. Thanks.
I have found this browser to be highly effective. Personally, I have experienced no issues and am satisfied with the performance of Norton. My security software of choice is Norton; its performance has surpassed other solutions I have evaluated, including this browser. It provides a secure environment and effectively mitigates online threats. Privacy is a key consideration for me.
No ads it says......yeah right, been on a few websites and as I scroll I see ads for Amazon etc....and that's not including Norton's own ads popping up. Just trying out Norton 360 and it recommended this browser, I'm going back to Opera where all ads are blocked and I can have DARK websites everywhere. This might put me off purchasing Norton 360 at the end of trial period.
Hello 🙃. I mainly use this browser to read manga, manhwa, and comics, so a pop-up-free experience is key. Unfortunately, pop-ups still got through, which was frustrating. I trust Norton, so I expected more. Also, when trying to buy Premium Protection, “America” wasn’t in the country dropdown — that felt odd. The app has potential but needs fixes to make browsing smoother and purchases easier for users like me.
This has been the best 2 years till today and I really enjoyed the browsing. (I even disabled chrome and only use your browser). even though it was protecting malware and Advertising, I opened my browser one day and it somehow tells me that I need to enter my passcode? I have never made a passcode so i proved that this was probably a tracker or modifier that has locked my browser, so I can prove that this "security browser" is false, because I got malware... please add more security.
