Issues since the last update: Can no longer use highlighter, can no longer edit text to be bold, italic, underlined etc. Cursor is now opaque white and obscures the characters one is trying to select/navigate between. Really frustrating as I've used this app for years without issue. It would be great if the devs fixed it.
Very, very cool. It needs account-sync over several devices. That is very important! That all we write is getting synced not just on Google Drive, but also across several devices. I'd appreciate it very much, since I not always have the same device with me. Oh, and maybe - just an idea - being able to create individual book covers were cool. (It's the artist within me.)
Love this note book app. Simply great and easy to find everything. I especially love the automatic index . An update : the only thing that seems to be missed is syncing between apps. I have this app on two devices and notes I add is not identical. I backed up both and in hope of adding the differences onto each devices, unfortunately it didn't work. I was looking for a way to sync this application on my devices to have identical content in both but I don't see anything regarding this feature.
I used to like this app, but now everytime I try to edit a notebook, either everything gets bolded or unbolded and it's getting irritating. Please stop doing this to me, it's not funny.
I have tried scores of note-taking apps, but in all, Notebooks is my favorite because of the accessibility to notes through indexes and swipe features, and quick access to the frequently used tools. I'm yet to see any notepad that can be compared in this regard. Pls in your update pay attention to formatting of data, scrolling, writing notes through share from other apps, inline attachment and wiki link....
I paid for this app one-off about a decade ago and have used it every day since. I love that there haven't been many updates or changes to the UI, allowing it to remain a simple, straightforward way to write and organise notes. Absolutely brilliant.
This is infuriating. I've used this app for a long time, but now, for the fifth time in fewer weeks it has failed to save my writing. Dozen of pages lost. I'm not certain why it does this, because it deleted content I'd already made certain was saved. I've been very fond of this app, because of the comfortable setup, but I can't deal with this. It's not worth the misery. I'd pay good money got a working version, but this isn't good enough.
No stars if I could. I used to love this app, but after upteen updates, no cursor putting a blank box over typed letters or numbers fixed. I paid full price for this. I hope it gets fixed soon. As for the advice of clear chache or u-install re-install, I don't need it. I'm tech savvy. This needs fixed soon, or I will be asking for a refund. I expect better from a paid app.
This app is great, but recently, it crashes every time I click "backup and restore." Hope this gets fixed, I don't want to lose my stuff if I can't backup the app anymore.
Sadly I have to give this app a one star because it states you can backup local, but it does not give the option to do so. I should not have to pay to backup my data. I paid for this app for that feature not even available. If this changes I will update my rating, but if you cannot back your notes it's no good.
