Issues since the last update: Can no longer use highlighter, can no longer edit text to be bold, italic, underlined etc. Cursor is now opaque white and obscures the characters one is trying to select/navigate between. Really frustrating as I've used this app for years without issue. It would be great if the devs fixed it.

Very, very cool. It needs account-sync over several devices. That is very important! That all we write is getting synced not just on Google Drive, but also across several devices. I'd appreciate it very much, since I not always have the same device with me. Oh, and maybe - just an idea - being able to create individual book covers were cool. (It's the artist within me.)

Love this note book app. Simply great and easy to find everything. I especially love the automatic index . An update : the only thing that seems to be missed is syncing between apps. I have this app on two devices and notes I add is not identical. I backed up both and in hope of adding the differences onto each devices, unfortunately it didn't work. I was looking for a way to sync this application on my devices to have identical content in both but I don't see anything regarding this feature.

I used to like this app, but now everytime I try to edit a notebook, either everything gets bolded or unbolded and it's getting irritating. Please stop doing this to me, it's not funny.

I have tried scores of note-taking apps, but in all, Notebooks is my favorite because of the accessibility to notes through indexes and swipe features, and quick access to the frequently used tools. I'm yet to see any notepad that can be compared in this regard. Pls in your update pay attention to formatting of data, scrolling, writing notes through share from other apps, inline attachment and wiki link....

I paid for this app one-off about a decade ago and have used it every day since. I love that there haven't been many updates or changes to the UI, allowing it to remain a simple, straightforward way to write and organise notes. Absolutely brilliant.

This is infuriating. I've used this app for a long time, but now, for the fifth time in fewer weeks it has failed to save my writing. Dozen of pages lost. I'm not certain why it does this, because it deleted content I'd already made certain was saved. I've been very fond of this app, because of the comfortable setup, but I can't deal with this. It's not worth the misery. I'd pay good money got a working version, but this isn't good enough.

No stars if I could. I used to love this app, but after upteen updates, no cursor putting a blank box over typed letters or numbers fixed. I paid full price for this. I hope it gets fixed soon. As for the advice of clear chache or u-install re-install, I don't need it. I'm tech savvy. This needs fixed soon, or I will be asking for a refund. I expect better from a paid app.

This app is great, but recently, it crashes every time I click "backup and restore." Hope this gets fixed, I don't want to lose my stuff if I can't backup the app anymore.

Sadly I have to give this app a one star because it states you can backup local, but it does not give the option to do so. I should not have to pay to backup my data. I paid for this app for that feature not even available. If this changes I will update my rating, but if you cannot back your notes it's no good.

I love this app!!! I went Pro several years ago. 1 issue: An odd green, tear-shaped, bookmark-like thing pops up when I want to make changes to my notes & blocks what I'm trying to fix. Help! 3 Suggestions: 1. More colors for book "covers". Varying shades of red for important notes; ???/!!! marks; 🌟y nite sky; 🌞; 2-tone, like brown/green for gardening, etc. 2. Manual arranging. 3. Allowing diff fonts/pages in the same book.

I bought the pro version because of my good experience with the free version. The two books I already created transferred nicely and the third one is doing well. However, #4 vanished when I created #5--which vanished at the addition of #6! Not to mention the raft of book covers that are suddenly taking up space and can't be deleted. Somebody needs to do something or I want my money back.

I used to love this app, but I've gotten sick of how impossible it is to actually scroll through my pages, or move the cursor around. I don't think there's been an update since I bought this, and now I feel stupid for buying an app with no support. Had to reduce the rating to two star since my device failed andy backups seem to be missing a random third of their pages. Not the most recent, some of the notes were over a year old.

Best app I have found for organizing. Make your books and start filling them. Very easy to use. Looks great also. Endless possibilities. Journal, To do notes, shopping list, home inventory, ect. Anything that you need to keep track of and record. The Pro version is so inexpensive for the quality and the limitless books you can make !

This has been my favorite app. But there is a bug: 1. You cant copy and paste inside the app. (At least not on my tablet? It works on my phone, so?) You can copy something from outside app and bring it in...but nothing "specific " on inside unless you copy whole page. I seriously hope you can fix this bug. Which that's not a huge deal but...all in all this is a GREAT app I use it every week. You can back up files and also link files to multiple devices which for me is HUGE and very handy.

Love this app, but I wish it had an undo button. There's nothing like trying to scroll up what you've written, having it select text instead, immediately bring up the keyboard under your thumb, then replace all your hard work with whatever you just accidentally pressed. I've also had it lose all the attached pictures I'd saved and don't know why. They're listed as being there but aren't. Would appreciate someone looking into that, as well as adding the ability to attach multiple files at once.

App constantly stops stalls and then stops working. I'm using a new tablet and I thought the notebook pro would be better than the free version. It's not. It stalls all the time. This is when it's the only app open our when it's open with other apps. I regret buying it. Not worth the money. Needs to be fixed. Crashes within 1 minutes of me using. Therfore nothing is saved. So frustrating!

It gets a little janky as you add more data to it. The cursor jumps several lines, and you have to backspace to get it where you need to type. I don't know about keeping my notes in here for longtime storage. I don't know where my files are being backed up to. It's supposed to be backed up to Google Drive, but nothing shows up in my Google drive. It's being saved somewhere because I can restore my files. This is a bit concerning for me.

Edit dec/30/20: I've been using the PD version app for over 4yrs. Upon setting the title of each page, it's no longer showing the area of what your actually typing. Makes it hard to set a title at all.(I have screenshots) Also, why is it that you can not delete a page within a book, that you no longer need? I'm thinking this app needs an upgrade & some improvement. 😁😁😎 I like the way the older version worked better. But still does what I need it to.

★★★★☆ One Feature Short... I love this app, used it over 10 years (since 2013), I even paid for pro here & on Amazon. Unfortunately I've never been able to move books around the way I want them arranged. We can only sort by date, title, or cover, but not manually. It's a real headache transferring the contents between notebooks just so I can arrange them how I'd like, & I've thought about finding a new app. I love this app, please consider adding a feature so we can manually sort/move our books?
