The company takes money for monthly subscriptions after having paid a yearly subscription. There is no way to get in contact with anyone on the app. Many books are incomplete. Several have severe grammar & spelling issues. There is no way to submit feedback on any of it. If you try the free reading, you will be overwhelmed with adds & pop-ups.
my go to app for reading. usually just need to watch an ad between chapters. no need to purchase coins to read like other apps. it's also easy to collect coins if you want to read ad free. the ads aren't really much of a deterrent though. I don't think I have ever used the coins I have accumulated. it's a pretty simple app for reading without them trying to force money from you to read anything. I have recommended it to friends and family
Way! Way! Way too many ads! I have tried other story.aps and none are nearly this annoying with the ads. To start a chapter you have to watch a long ad. Sometimes you get through the extremely short chapter with just 3 more quick ads, but other times there are one or 2 more long ads. (Plus the ads at the bottom of every page.) Glitches too! I get needing to support the writers, but Once I finish this story "IF I finish this story" I am just going to NOPE! NOPE! NOPE! On out of here.
The books are good. A lot of spelling errors etc. I was in the middle of reading A Pack of their Own. Waiting on an update when the book was removed from my book shelf. When I placed it back into my bookshelf I have to start reading chapter 1 instead of the last chapter I read. The waiting for new chapters are frustrating. Please fix the issue with books that are being removed from bookshelves.
No way to cancel before trial ends! I was trying to cancel my 3 trial before I was charged the annual fee but there is no where to cancel. I've emailed the company and hopefully will get refunded. Ridiculous, as much as I liked the trial and was considering doing a monthly subscription. I won't be doing any of that now. Once I get this all figured out I will be uninstall inglés. So disappointed because I really liked the story I was reading and want to finish it.
Ads make it impossible to read/look at previous pages. You can only read a few chapters total before you have to pay or wait a few hours. Ads are every 2pgs. Some force you to click and open the ad's link. Very unsafe, never trust apps that do this. I can't go to previous pages because there's an ad that blocks navigation. Font changing req's ads. Author quality doesn't address what I said. I know ads pay authors. Doesn't change navigation and that App is purposefully unusable unless you pay.
I love this app. The books are good, lots of spicy stories that we love. So many reviews of this app are just people complaining about the ads. Like, how do you guys think they have all the stories free? Any other reading app I have does the gem thing to unlock chapters. This one doesn't. You just play ads, which is free. I take the time when the ad is playing to grab a snack or just stretch my neck&shoulders. The ads are not THAT long or often. You can fr binge all day for free.
it's not even close to being "100%" free. ads galore and the price to remove ads is ridiculous. then when you try to claim the coins you've earned, it keeps popping up with this $100 "shopping card" that you've won, which strikes me as some kind of scam. I deleted the app once that started popping up. I'm frankly shocked at how high the reviews are for this app.
The app only works when it wants to. It acts like it's loading all the time. When I have full bars, I have to log out and log back in frequently. It takes subscription payment 8 days before the payment is due. It says you can read for free, but I wasn't able to. It let's you read half the book them you have to get a subscription to finish the book and 19.99 a month isn't worth it. I have an app I pay 8.99 a month for, and it's better. I do have to say the books are good though.
For the love of everything get rid of the ads or reduce them! Good grief can't get past two pages without an ad before and after! Sometimes one page has an ad before and after! Ugh! I've enjoyed this app and the books however that enjoyment is becoming irritation of not being able to read without CONSTANT interruption! ***Now I've had to uninstall because the app won't let you unlock chapters without doing more than watching an ad. Get over yourself and fix the issues!
