Horrific experience! I paid for a week, and I was then charged without my consent for a full year (on the same day, so there was not even a question of that happening once the week was up). They refuse to refund me for something I did not agree to and a service I am not using. I advise anyone against using this app as you might get scammed out of a lot of money without even knowing.

DO NOT INSTALL THIS APP...... it's a waste of money.... i paid for the subscription of this app for a week and in just a day i can't open any book it only shows "loading failed, please try to reload" and when i reload, nothing happened.. though i have a good internet service provider

Stole my money. I wanted to see what the different subscription options were and when I clicked the button it automatically charged my PayPal. I have it set to approve purchases and it never asked me. 129.99. I did not have that much in that account.

Not worth your time or money. The books seem poorly edited and not well written. One book had 3 different unfinished stories in it. I wasn't able to find a way to leave a review for stories read so either that function doesn't exist or it is hidden in the app, which is suspicious because the books apparently have ratings. Both the stories and the app seem rather poorly put together. There are plenty of free apps and websites where you can find books of the same or better quality.

I enjoyed reading, however after reaching a certain chapter it says "Network Is Unstable. Please Try Again" & a "Tap To Reload" button but it doesn't work. At $10 a week & connected to wi-fi & unlimited cellular data, I know there is no problem with the connection. And the only help is a group chat in whatsapp Fixing to cancel my subscription.

no way to cancel subscription! don't waste your money because you will want to cancel your subscription, I promise you. they tell you you can cancel anytime but when it comes down to it, they done have that option on the app! i tried canceling via appstore but it's not on there either. very frustrating. save yourself the time, trouble, and, more importantly, you're money! ridiculous!

First I go to subscribe 29 cents a week to my paypal and the bank fraud dept calls wanting to know if I authorized a $129 payment - the yearly price. I said no. So I thought maybe I chose the wrong option. I go back and .29 cents is grayed out and only the yearly option is lit, so I switched to Gpay for $6.99. I go to authorize and it shows $14.99. This is fraud. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

loved the book I read, just wish it wasn't soo over priced to read books, any kind of book. PayPal has been trying to charge my cashapp $9.99, multiple times a day for a couple of months now, even though I have tried to cancel any and all possible subscriptions to these ridiculously overpriced e-book app subscriptions. over $300 in 2 months one of the book apps has been attempting to take from me for cancelling after the affordable trial ended, so I had no choice other than to block PayPal.

BEWARE - The first week I got VIP it worked fine. After that I paid for 2 weeks VIP (once thru Google Play, and thinking I did it wrong when it didn't work, once through the app), and I still can't access the books. It acknowledges my subscription but won't allow access to the app/books. There is no customer service and no contact info for the developer. Google refused to refund as well.

The app says 0.10 to subscribe, and 9.99/week, but that's a lie! False advertising for initial cost makes me distrust anything else that they offer.... It says it in more than one place including on the subscribe button, then tries to charge you 9.99. Ridiculous. I was willing to give it a try at the trial rate, but, in not trying ANYTHING that represents one price and attempts to charge you a completely different price with a 100% markup. I feel bad for the people who fell for it.

This app offers only monthly/yearly membership at the most rediculous prices I've seen yet. It offers no other alternatives to continue reading their books. The story I was reading seemed to be pretty good, but the membership is not worth it. Folks, there are other apps that are more reasonable and gives multiple ways of using their product.

Too expensive, won't let me cancel. I have been trying to cancel this app fee since the beginning of September. It is too much of a cost for only being able to read a couple chapters a week and nothing really happening in the story. It is also pretty expensive. I have tried to canceled 4 times since the first week of September. It keeps saying it is in review, but then keeps charging me and doesn't cancel. So now I have paid $110 extra on an app/account they were supposed to cancel.

I decided to switch to Kindle and canceled my account. I verified it was canceled (my library was missing, and it offered me a subscription), but they are continuing to charge me. By the way, it is immediately canceled, and you lose access immediately. I WANT A REFUND! If they have a way to contact support, it is well hidden. Their "help center" has 1 faq (reading) and no email address or contact form. The "feedback" link requires you to install WhatsApp, and I'm not doing that.

This app is a scam for subscriptions. I canceled my subscription and deleted the app. They continued to charge me for the past month and I was unable to figure out which app until now. They do not have a an actual customer service rep, instead only referring to cancelations efforts as The APP. They changed their 'subscription cancellation' to must contact PayPal, but after resigning in I do not have a subscription active. It takes 30 days with PayPal review.

If I could give zero stars I would. I signed up at 29 cents for the week. What they don't tell upfront is you can't cancel before 30 days. They also don't tell the cost for weeks 2 through 4. The book that I signed up to read wasn't even a book, it was a very short story. Very disappointed and angry due to the level of deceit surrounding their costs, cancellation and bogus "books".

first you advertise as free. then u download and say its .29 for fee from paypal and 6.99 a week for google. that is just all kinds of shady and misrepresentation or considered a outright lie!EDIT 7/23/25 you ask me to edit my review which i can't because I have taken the time to read others reviews and they had the same issues, along with no way to cancel in the app. Also, every single comment from your app is identical which means you can't take the time to write a personal response.

I saw a book that seemed interesting so i downloaded the app and discovered that you have to get a subscription to read these books. I'm not buying a subscription to read a book. i will find something else edit: its an issue with the entire app. im not paying a weekly subscription for books when i can go find something similar without the subscription. your customer service cannot help fix that

Let me start first by saying the stories are absolutely AMAZING!!!! The problem comes in when you subscribe ( this is a weekly charge ) and the first week is fine, no problems. The next week it's back to asking for money to become a VIP so you can continue reading. ** UPDATE** I had to cancel today as they are back to asking for money even though I already paid for a subscription. This has been a problem for many as you can see everyone complaining in group chat on WhatsApp

if you want to keep reading, they give you two subscription choices and that's that. Hard pass on forced subs Edit: No. I will not do an extra process to "help you". It's pretty simple, YOUR APP, if anyone wishes to continue reading stories on your app, you force them into two subscriptions. No coins, no videos to watch instead. it's subscribe or try to find it elsewhere.

The story that I wanted to read was wonderful, but it only got 1☆ because there's NO way to earn any coins, tokens, or whatever's needed to read on. There's no ads to watch to open the next chapter, or ANY free options! Yeah, there's a $.10 weekly option, and that's cheaper than most of what I saw already, but they also have a few free options, too, if you take a paid trial. I'm uninstalling and not reinstalling until there's improvements to the app. Too bad, too.... I was really into the book.
