subscribed to the app to read 1 story for 99ct , tried to cancel and while surcharge the screen was lagging and I ended up subscribing for 129$ from a year with one single click. contacted the help center and they claim that because of "intense reading in the last 7 days" nothing can be done. Haven't read a single word since accidentally subscribing and told them that I had a 1 week subscription before. very shady

I downloaded the application to see one story, paid a small fee of $3 that implied it would lead to more payments. When I was trying to find out if I was subscribed from this, I clicked on the subscription service area to try and find out more and it AUTO. CHARGED ME. $200!!! No pop-up, no questions, no confirmation AT ALL. Just immediately charged me through the same way I paid the $3. It completely bypassed my Play Billing authentication settings. This is actually insanely bad.

I would've given 0 stars if i'm allowed to do so. Honestly i don't remember ever subscribing to anything on this app. It has been 2 months and they are still auto-purchasing from my card via paypal. When i downloaded back the app to cancel my subscription, the instructions were very unclear and useless because there is nothing that tells me whether i've subscribed or not. I have emailed them multiple times yet, they still did nothing to address the issue. This is outrageous and ridiculous!!!!

App is a scam run. They don't let you cancel. they give you the run around inthe app says you can cancel anytime, but nowhere in the app does it let you. 9.99 a week is crazy. so many books are horribly written decent plots but very badly written. It feels like AI writing. Do not even do a trial because you can't cancel. Help and support in the app have two faq questions, don't let you search other questions, and won't let you chat with anyone to help. I will have to go to my bank and show them

I paid the .99 cents to finish a story I started reading and then tried to cancel and there is literally no way to cancel and no customer support. it doesnt show up as a subscription in the app store. there's no website. nothing.

ridiculous pricing for low level editing. they want subscriptions to read these stories and the pricing is ridiculous especially when the spelling and grammar have many errors throughout. being able to purchase the books individually for a low price (considering the low quality editing) could be understandable but this app is greedy. kindle subscription is cheaper and you can buy whole books with no spelling and grammar errors for less than this subscription price. don't waste your time

I would give 0 stars but then I can't leave a review of how horrible this app is. And the customer service is worse. It says you can cancel any time that is false. If you read the fine print, that is only available after the subscription, they have the right to raise the cost at anytime in any amount. And it will be auto drafted from your account with no notice.

IF YOU CAN'T CANCEL YOUR SUBSCRIPTION, READ THIS!! It says that it's going to be 99 cents a week but after the first week it jumps up to 14.99 a week. Even though they say that you can cancel in the app at any time, there is NO cancellation button. Even "canceling your account" in the app, doesn't stop the charges. If you subscribed through PayPal, click on the transaction then "report a problem", then "manage auto pay payments". Turn off autopay for this app and that should stop the payments.

I am having trouble canceling a subscription and an auto-pay that was never approved. Please get back to me ASAP with instructions on how to cancel the subscription and maybe I can review your app for the novels and other features but at this time I'm too frustrated trying to figure out the way to cancel the subscription. There is nowhere to cancel paypal subscription in the app before it renews, you have to email them with your user ID to do so. I like being able to pay and read for a week instead of buying chapter but the content was not too good. It is lots of good stories with either bad writing or translation. The story I was reading changed to a different story with same named characters at chapter 27 it was very frustrating.

The only reason it even got a single star review is because the stories are good. However, there's no way 2 read for free & you have to have reoccurring weekly/yearly subscription 2 finish the books. There R better apps out there w/free options, even if there's a watch ads requirement 2 unlock chapters. I'll redownload periodically to see if this was fixed. As of right now, I'm uninstalling & not recommending unless you want to be forced to pay a subscription. Ridiculous & advantageous. 🚫change

I was really enjoying the story in the ad. I downloaded it and came to install the app.. The story came up right away and almost at exactly the right spot. But when I went to the next chapter, it immediately asked me to subscribe to a ridiculous amount. I have too many other reading apps that are free, completely, or you can earn chapters. I'm uninstalling. Don't waste your time and money. Try Readict

I enjoyed the story I read from an ad and decided to get this app. When I opened it to continue said story, I saw I could pay $0.29 weekly using PayPal, but when I switched to Gpay (where I have spare funds to use for things like this, as well as getting bonus points for each $ spent) it increased to $6.99 per week. No other option unless I paid over $125 for a yearly subscription. I am deleting this app immediately. I don't expect to read everything for free, but this is highway robbery.

It's one of those apps where you pay a weekly or money subscription for chapters of the book. I was reading the vip subscription details and accidentally clicked the yearly subscription, which is about $130, and I didn't even get a warning or confirmation. I've been trying to get a refund, but they say I can't because I already benefited from the upgrade. Haven't touched the app after that just waiting for an update on the hope of a refund.

I clicked the buttons for a trial was charged .99 cents, I was okay with that. I did not find it worth the monthly fee so I wanted to cancel and not continue with the subscription and I clicked the button for the subscription center and thought i was going to cancel and instead got charged for the 129.99 year subscription without a confirmation of buying. I tried to resolve within app but never got a response. Now I'm out 129.99. Definitely DO NOT recommend.

SCAM. I was checking my subscription status, as I had decided to get the one week subscription just to read a couple stories. While looking at my status, I accidentally clicked on the yearly option and it IMMEDIATELY charged me for the year. And there is no customer service to talk to, just automated responses. Furthermore, they say they only offer partial refunds, which is totally unacceptable. Now I have to call PayPal to fix this. Do not recommend, ESPECIALLY if you subscribe with PayPal.

This app is a scam. Do not download. They have it set up so that if you click to learn more info about the subscription, you are automatically deducted the full amount for 1 year subscription. There is NO confirmation page. If you go to get help from them, they tell you that because you were reading books they will not give you a refund, even tho you were reading in a "trial" period.

Got me for a week then went to click in a link to try and cancel and instead of verifying my info like I thought it was, charged me for a years subscription. Now I get I messed up but no response from customer support and to tip it off the content isn't that good either. Don't waist your time or money on this app. Subscription still not canceled and only way it seems to fix it is to delete my profile.

I am so frustrated right now. This app has nobody I can contact to cancel my subscription. After I subscribed, the chapters were unreadable and did not make any sense. If you have any problems, you can only reach them through the app or email. But the email is just an automated response to resolve your issues in the app. But there is no one who can respond through the app and resolve my issues. This is just a never ending circle. 100% do not recommend subscribing to anything or using this app.

Found a book on FB, thought it was good so I subscribed for 99cents on PayPal for a week. The payment went through and a few more chapters in and then the book made no sense, now I want to cancel and I can't figure out how. I use several reading sites and they make it easy to cancel any subscription through Google play, I have never had this much trouble before.
