You watch ads to read and they freeze and you can't read anymore
Chapters are short and cost alot of coins for what's in them. You will spend at least £50 just reading one book if you buy the coins to keep reading. You don't get enough coins free daily to keep you interested in coming back. There's no option like there is in other apps to buy a tear subscription so you can read as many books as you want. Wouldn't waste your money or effort to be honest!
the app allows you to watch ads to get the next chapter, however, the app often glitches and won't allow you to continue after the adds play.
To expensive for amateur writers. I've spent $30 and I'm only half way! Stories are good though.
The books are good. you have to use coins to read a new chapter. the chapters you read in a book the more coins it takes. I'm not paying for coins. you only get a couple chapters a day.
I enjoy the stories, but it would be nice if we could get more coins for watching ads. Plus the one story I'm reading the author is still writing and it's taking a long time to get the next chapter. It would be nice if the stories weren't posted until they're finished.
can't use any of the buttons at the bottom for rewards, library or anything since it became full screen....
It's a money scam. I've spent 40$ on coins and still haven't gotten through 1 book. I'm not spending anymore. I can pay 16$ a month to read numerous book with great grammar. This app is not worth it.
Since my last update, my app doesn't work properly. I can't use the menu bar at the bottom of my screen the app doesn't respond the the prompts and no it's not my phone because I checked. please can you fix this?
I love the books that I have been reading. However the ads don't let you close them to collect coins to be able to read. This has been going on for a couple of weeks now. Contemplating removing the app if not fixed.
While I enjoy the books I have read so far, I am not thrilled with the VIP program. I do not like that you have to sign in every day to receive coins to read maybe 5 chapters of a book you are reading at the moment. Why does each chapter have to have a different amount of coins? One chapter is 35 coins while the next is 79... makes no sense when it's the same length. I would rather not pay for a month then have to read articles to continue to read the story I was reading.
Content is great, but the chapters are extremely short. Chapters require different amounts of coins. Not cost effective when compared to similar apps, several chapters can cost $100 in a week. Other apps have the story wrapped up in about 100 chapters. This app will stretch them out to 300 chapters that results in $$$$ just to finish it.
SOOOO EXPENSIVE. You'd think signing up for the monthly subscription would be worth it, but #1 it's not unlimited & #2 the majority of chapters themselves are like 50 coins. By the time you've used up your subscription (which is $20) you've barely gotten 100-200 chapters into the book. Then to buy more? I'm not paying $60+ to finish a book. Ridiculous.
The books are awesome but the chapters are short before you have to pay. Does not have any author information so you can continue reading books from that same author. Worst part is if you have coins but can't remember the last chapter you read or need a refresher you lose the chapter you just unlocked and have to do the whole thing over again. If you have a problem you have to have a Facebook account in order to get customers service. Read with caution!
Don't ever buy any coins if you want to be able to read a chapter using ads. I paid for 1 day and now I can't get any chapters by watching ads, only the daily bonuses. Sometimes the daily 200 bonus ads say you've completed them when you haven't. So I'm lucky if I can read more than 3 chapters a day. Some chapters cost more than 60 coins, so buying coins doesn't go very far either.
Content = Enjoyable! $$$ Cost = Extremely High!!! $$$ Unless I am misunderstanding this app, I would have to spend over $200 for 1 book. That's my whole book budget for the year! The book I started reading on this app was good! Good enough I would have paid up to $20 for the book, even being an ebook without much editing. That's how solid the story was. Is there a way to just buy 1 of the books outright? Also, there didn't seem to be any assistiv reading options, i.e. text-to-speech.
It keeps freezing. I've been reading for over an hour, and it's stuck right before 10 minutes. It won't go past it. I've cleared the cache. I've closed the app out and am still open to the same spot right before. The stories are entertaining. Some grammer issues, nothing too concerning. Why are the ads so long. Make them 30 seconds at least.
don't get me wrong they have good books on here but I've never had to pay more than $5-10 on an amateur book (I've spent $30 and I'm not even half way through the book) and if you use the points it only gives you enough to read about two chapters a day, plus if you have 'coins' and 'bonus' you can't add them together to open another chapter you have to have enough of one or the other. it's a little frustrating and silly.
