When you pay and, have no access to reading when you paid! This is frustrating not to be able to speak to a person considering how much money these apps generate. Been waiting 3 days for access! The books are awesome. This is why I don't want a refund.

Went to purchase a week for $0.99 for the first week then $9.99 after and it would not give me the $0.99 for the first week. It tried to charge me the $9.99 right off. Thats false advertisement and misleading and very unprofessional at best. Aslo makes you guys out to be liars. If i could give a zero star rate i would.
When I download this app I was only supposed to pay $9.99 a month and I could cancel at any time. Well it wasn't like that. They charge $9.99 a week. After I realized that I tried to cancel and it said it would be cancelled by July 13th. After I have paid $70 they are still taking money from my account. I have had no rights to read any of the books for 5 weeks. I would never recommend this site to anyone.
Horrible customer service. I have purchased dozens of their weekly subscriptions.until one week my payment went through but was not registering on the app (saying I had insufficient funds and subscription inactive) it did come out of my bank account.When I contacted customer service they advised me the subscription was active and they don't offer a refund. I was not after a refund but wanted the week that I paid for to be available.Again they stated it was active and offered no resolution at all
Tried to continue reading a story past the free chapters and there is no option to watch videos or earn points to continue reading. Only option provided is a VIP subscription. Shame cause the book seemed interesting but not interested in paying for a subscription, especially when the chapters are so short and it doesn't give further details about how it works.
I tried this app and decided to unsubscribe as I didn't want to pay the weekly charge of £9.49 after the first week, unfortunately for me I could not figure out how to unsubscribe from the app and uninstalled it instead stupidly thinking this would stop myself from being charged further. After being charged nearly £40 for an app I do not even have installed on my phone I have finally figured out how to unsubscribe, I will most certainly not make that mistake again.
Terrible reading app. There's no options to be able to read more chapters other than to pay. So which means if you dont want to spend money DONT get this app or you'll never get to finish a book. And don't get me started on the money aspect of it... the $0.99 for the fist week is a lie, and untrue. They are over charging and ripping people off. How sad. I was actually enjoying the book I started... but can never finish as this app is very dodgy about taking money ect ect
Subscribed for 99p Loved the app but couldn't start the £9.49pw sub till payday so paused it. Not had time to restart yet but planned on doing it soon. BUT on 12th Aug 2024 a payment came out my bank for the Paused subscription. Yet on my NZ account it says I haven't paid but I have as they took £9.49 even though it's paused I have proof through bank and GooglePay BUT their's no way to contact NZ as the app kicks you off if you try to send feedback Suspicious their's no chat or customer service
Unfortunately this is one of those apps where you can only spend money. You don't even give anybody an option to do anything like watching ads or anything to get chapters. The books are nice but any place charging more than places like kindle isn't worth it. And even kindle gives you books for free....
The books on the app are super interesting. The only downfall is there is no way to unlock chapters without spending money. I would be willing to consider giving 5 stars if they added some form of points system where you get daily points or points from watching adds
Somehow, I got subscribed to this app. I downloaded it and started reading a book but when i seen i had to pay $9.99 a week i uninstalled it. They took $9.99 out of my account for it. I sent them a message that i didn't subscribe to it and wanted a refund. I was told that i could not be refunded. A lot of people are struggling financially right now and they do not care. They just want the money. Never again will i install this app.
If you think it's free after reading the chapters on Facebook, it's not. You can't even continue 1 chapter without paying that's the only option. So if you're looking to watch ads to continue reading that's not even an option. Looking at some of the reviews I'm definitely not going to subscribe either.
$9.99 a week is highway robbery and the whole join for $0.99 is just their way of scamming you into paying ridiculous amounts of money and no way of being able to read anything for free due to having to buy a weekly subscription. I cancelled mine during the 0.99$ trial week and was still charged $9.99 and had to re-cancel cuz it didn't go through on their end, not my fault or problem and would like my money back
I did they .99 subscription, and they said the last day was today. Then, when i went in to cancel it they had already they took 10 dollars outta my account. So that means it wasn't the end of today it was yesterday. They only have a feedback center dont waste your time, the stories are more like short stories, couldnt get some chapters to load etc Ill be trying to get my money back
Very Disappointed. After reading through the reviews I thought I could watch ads to see the next chapters without having to pay for it but no, one book I tried to read I only got to the FOURTH Chapter before it tried to ask me to subscribe and if I don't I can't read farther. They either want $9.99 per month or $129.99 for a year(which is absolutely insane) for that much money i could spend my money actually buying real books and get tons of them! Uninstalled.
subscribed for .99 then paused subscription when I wasn't going to be able to read for a few days. tried to restart subscription, but now can't access content despite having been charged. 9.99/week isn't bad, better than pay-per-chapter apps, especially given how fast I read, but with no reliable way to turn it on and off as needed, I won't be using this app anymore. I found another app that's only $5/month for unlimited content!
Very upset with this app and the stories. Got through 96 chapters in one of the books and the author stopped writing the book I was reading and started a whole new book in the other 150 chapters left of the book. How can you let someone publish a book and not finish it. The book I am specifically referring to is the "Alpha Triplets Claim." Books should not be allowed to be published if they are not complete. Wish that I could have a refund for my payment. Will not used app again.
I paid for the trial and read part of one story. The story just drug on and on, and I lost interest. Had it ended within the first 100 chapters it would have been good but to drag it on for 250 chapters it got boring and ridiculous. I would keep the app for $10 a month, but it's definitely not worth $40 a month. The grammar was not good and it had many errors. Also the story line just didn't make sense in many places. So $40 a month is way too much to pay for stories that are not great quality.
App is garbage. Actually horrible. A comment said you can read free if you watch ads, but they didn't give me that option. Money hungry. Is so expensive for a subscription. This app sucks. Do not download if you dont have 10 a week to pay to actually be able to use it. The first 6 chapters of one story seemed interesting but way over charges. Costs way more than buying a book would. 0/10 recommend.
