When you pay and, have no access to reading when you paid! This is frustrating not to be able to speak to a person considering how much money these apps generate. Been waiting 3 days for access! The books are awesome. This is why I don't want a refund.
Only can get 4 chapter and got to pay 99 cents just to read the whole book but on the advertisement it says don't have to pay to read so yall are lying just make it free why would you make a advertisement that say free to read and you have to pay if I could give it -1 start i would stop making apps and yall want people to pay for everything and it's still a lie even if you pay
Went to purchase a week for $0.99 for the first week then $9.99 after and it would not give me the $0.99 for the first week. It tried to charge me the $9.99 right off. Thats false advertisement and misleading and very unprofessional at best. Aslo makes you guys out to be liars. If i could give a zero star rate i would.
When I download this app I was only supposed to pay $9.99 a month and I could cancel at any time. Well it wasn't like that. They charge $9.99 a week. After I realized that I tried to cancel and it said it would be cancelled by July 13th. After I have paid $70 they are still taking money from my account. I have had no rights to read any of the books for 5 weeks. I would never recommend this site to anyone.
Horrible customer service. I have purchased dozens of their weekly subscriptions.until one week my payment went through but was not registering on the app (saying I had insufficient funds and subscription inactive) it did come out of my bank account.When I contacted customer service they advised me the subscription was active and they don't offer a refund. I was not after a refund but wanted the week that I paid for to be available.Again they stated it was active and offered no resolution at all
Tried to continue reading a story past the free chapters and there is no option to watch videos or earn points to continue reading. Only option provided is a VIP subscription. Shame cause the book seemed interesting but not interested in paying for a subscription, especially when the chapters are so short and it doesn't give further details about how it works.
I tried this app and decided to unsubscribe as I didn't want to pay the weekly charge of £9.49 after the first week, unfortunately for me I could not figure out how to unsubscribe from the app and uninstalled it instead stupidly thinking this would stop myself from being charged further. After being charged nearly £40 for an app I do not even have installed on my phone I have finally figured out how to unsubscribe, I will most certainly not make that mistake again.
Terrible reading app. There's no options to be able to read more chapters other than to pay. So which means if you dont want to spend money DONT get this app or you'll never get to finish a book. And don't get me started on the money aspect of it... the $0.99 for the fist week is a lie, and untrue. They are over charging and ripping people off. How sad. I was actually enjoying the book I started... but can never finish as this app is very dodgy about taking money ect ect
Subscribed for 99p Loved the app but couldn't start the £9.49pw sub till payday so paused it. Not had time to restart yet but planned on doing it soon. BUT on 12th Aug 2024 a payment came out my bank for the Paused subscription. Yet on my NZ account it says I haven't paid but I have as they took £9.49 even though it's paused I have proof through bank and GooglePay BUT their's no way to contact NZ as the app kicks you off if you try to send feedback Suspicious their's no chat or customer service
Unfortunately this is one of those apps where you can only spend money. You don't even give anybody an option to do anything like watching ads or anything to get chapters. The books are nice but any place charging more than places like kindle isn't worth it. And even kindle gives you books for free....
