Very efficient, just 4/5 because of non-replacable embedded battery, proprietary magnetic power cable format and no "0" on the keypad!!!
I don't think I would choose this lock again if I had the chance. It is a good lock but I don't think it's really making things easier. The app is ok. But not very clear. The most disappointed thing is when k create a guest user they must download the app. That is in my opinion to much work for a lock. People delete the app when they doesn't need or get access and when I give them temporarily access they need to download it again. My suggestion/expectation from the lock is a temporary web address/location where they use the open and lock possibilities for a time that is set by me. No download with an app just for the time being a nice solution for opening the door.
If you need to click more than twice in order to lock/unlock the door, then it's not usable. Same goes for the widgets & smart watch. When opening the app, first thing i want to see is the lock status. Click on the circle should lock / unlock it, following with a nice and clear effect on the app, i.e red unlocked, green/blue/white locked, just like a remote control on/off button. The bridge isn't working well and most of the time isn't responding or it takes an additional try with the app. Nuki3
The app is not what it was. Frequently fails to connect with the lock, notifications are not coming through, auto unlock barely works and the lock reports as locked when it is jammed. With regards to latter, the lock knows it's jammed because it reports as such, but then decides it's locked, incorrectly and for no discernable reason. This has been my experience with a 2.0 and a 4 Pro and on two different mobile devices during that timeframe. I'm not sure what you've done, but youve broken it.
Nuki alows leaving home and returning without using your key or the app. You can set a night time, when the door locks or auto locking time in minutes after you have closed the door. Lock has great automatic functionality (it calibrates it self) and lots of options for tweaking. Would be nice to have: 1. Plate for ASSA 2. Auto calibration did not open far enough and had to tweak it to - 10'. Wish it had an option to set the current position as open. 3. There should be normal and expert settings
I've set up a new tablet and app on my phone (primary) device was disabled for security reasons! Automatically, without any question or warning! I didn't even open the app on the tablet! 🤦♂️
Brilliant piece of kit. Wouldn't be with out it. Would buy again. Use it for a holiday cottage and to allow guests short term access. Easy to issue time bound key, easy to open remotely, easy to see when guests arrive/leave. Used it now for two years plus. On the app it regularly shows lock as off line so I have to close app and open again and it is fine. I find this annoying. Don't know if this is the phone (Moto g9), my network at either end (virgin/talltalk), the app or the equipment.
Great app. I had a problem that I couldn't invite a new user unless I was standing within Bluetooth distance of the lock. The Nuki support team described how I could solve that. I really appreciate how Nuki keeps improving the app over time.
Such a great idea and totally reliable (in that, eventually, it always opens the door), yet just incredibly slow and inconsistent. Sometimes it opens everything straight away, sometimes you have to wait minutes(!) only to have the doors open when you're long inside. It's just so frustrating and ludicrous. Also, one has to restart the app regularly whenever the status can't load.
App is not good anymore. A bug was introduced lately. When opening the app it takes up to 1 minute to see the status of the lock. During that time, the lock cannot be operated. Previous review:"Very good app... Just one feature I wish it had: an Android Auto version. That way I could open the door from the car when Im driving or arriving home."
