So here's my take on NurseGrid: Nursing Calendar. I've tested a bunch of medical/healthcare apps and this one's pretty solid. The calendar features work really well for managing your hectic nursing schedule, and the social network aspect is a nice way to stay in touch with your colleagues. The job board is a cool bonus too. That said, the app does have some usability issues and the constant notifications can get old. But if you're a nurse looking to stay on top of your schedule and connected with your peers, this is definitely worth downloading.

Description

Been using the NurseGrid: Nursing Calendar app for a couple months now. It’s basically a calendar and social network for nurses. Pretty solid app if you’re in the medical field and need to keep your crazy work schedule straight.

Here’s what you can do – you can add your shifts, swap with other nurses, and even see who you’re working with. There’s also a social feed where you can connect with your nursing friends, which is pretty cool. And the job board feature is useful for finding new opportunities – took me a while to figure that one out but it’s come in handy.

Look, if you’re a nurse or nursing student, you’ll probably really like this app. It’s not perfect – the interface can be a little clunky at times and the push notifications get a bit annoying. But overall it does the job of keeping your work life organized and your career connected. Worth checking out for sure.

This app just didn't do what it's made to do. Part of it is that I have an Android because app developers tend to forget about us and leave out...
