I’ve been using NYPrepper Emergency Alerts for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you receive alerts from this guy named NYPrepper who’s monitoring different types of emergencies and disasters. Pretty solid app if you’re into prepping and wanting to stay on top of potential threats.
Here’s what you can do: you can select the types of alerts you want to get, like severe weather, power outages, civil unrest, and stuff like that. And there’s also a map view that shows where events are happening. And you can customize the notification settings – it’s got options to get alerts right away or just a daily summary, which is kinda nice.
Look, if you’re the type of person who likes to be prepared for anything, you’ll probably find this app useful. It’s not perfect – the notifications can be a little annoying sometimes – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you want to stay in the loop on potential emergencies.

So here's my honest take on NYPrepper Emergency Alerts. I've tested a bunch of emergency/disaster apps and this one's actually pretty decent.
