still getting used pretty simple and straightforward I like the fact is not a bunch of charts and graphs to interpret as of December 18th still working and pretty much idiot-proof some of the texts just hard to read for my old eyes need more contrast
Reviews for Obd Arny - ELM327 car scanner
← Back to Obd Arny - ELM327 car scannerWorks like it's supposed to issue with Blue Tooth. I keep having to remove all bt items, sync this upfirst- then resync e327. Not sure if it is e 327 or app.i suspect device hence 4 stars.
junk, couldn't even link to my reader, tried several times, just as instructed, shutting off key, retrying, etc., etc. then downloaded another one that worked instantly!
Reduced to 1 star as now not confident about readings given. Eg coolant temperature consistently reading 2C less than other apps when using same scan tool. Specific paid for Citroen/Peugeot used and separate scan tools tried... Ok
Excellent app with plenty of information you need for your car. I got it because my car was showing a fault. This app shows the codes and problems. Lambda sensor on exhaust was faulty.
best of the apps that i have tried but needs a little help, once it connects to the car the only way to connect a second time is to reboot thr phone (pixel 3 xl). also notifications cant be dismissed without a reboot.
Yet another bs app that can NOT connect to any elm327 scan tool. I have 9 different elm327 scan tools that range in age from 10yrs to 1 day old. NONE OF THEM WILL CONNECT TO THIS APP!!! Completely useless af!!! This app is a waste of time and phone memory!!! Do Not Waste Your Time Or Memory!!! Id give it zero stars if possible to!!!
Connected first time. Fault not found yet but it's a hybrid and so perhaps not in the scope of the app.
Works great. Connects to micro mechanic and other obd II adapters. Has a good Ui, easy to understand. The ads aren't bothersome, when they do pop up. Has many great features.
This used to work very well and provided a lot of useful information. Now it's been changed and will not show the faults without upgrading the app and pay extra. Bye Felicia!
Tested my e36 BMW, used the free version with limited features. The application is easy to use, even with free version could read all the error codes and erase them. Worked reliably with mini elm327 scanner. Thank you!
My car has a problem with ABS/ESP pump motor. Obd Arny connected to my obd2 bluetooth and after full scan, no error found!! Really?!! The only correct info it gave me is engine temperature and the rpm! Which I don't need because I can see it on my car's dashboard!
This is a very good app giving premium features in the free version. I have used this on my Peugeot 207 and it is very informative about error codes. It also allows you to set parameters and looking at live data.
I installed 8 different odb2 readers this morning. This was the ONLY app that let me a) diagnose my issue with an error code and b) allowed me to clear the error - all in trial mode. That made me want to pay for the app. The other 7 failed on that front. Either the odb2 wasn't found, or error codes were not specific, or the app showed me the codes but wouldn't let me clear them.
Seems to work a clear codes as described, the Live Data section seems very limited, but to get an initial impression of an issue a car is having without taking to A/your shop it's very convenient, could easily fit in any car in the glovebox and is rather neat to have if your a mechanic
Put this to the test. So I had a problem with one of the code's on my display. I plugged in the OBD2 into my car and connect my phone using Bluetooth waited a few seconds then the information showed up. I pressed problem code's and within 10 seconds it cleared the code from my car's display. Can't fault it. Brilliant software.
Has always worked flawlessly for me. Great app. Just keep in mind that, for the bluetooth reader I have, you turn bluetooth on, then open the app, go to view the codes and then choose "yes" to connect to the vehicle. Connecting to the bluetooth device directly doesn't seem to work. Not an issue with the app, but can be confusing.
Using it when I don't have the Big One readily available. I used it mostly to read and clear errors, and check some live datas usually when I'm far from my garage. It worked everytime, and it does too on my other old phone so it's not a heavyweight. For reference my Car is a Peugeot 206 RC.
From reading many problems posted on some of vehicle users group chats, I was very scared of using the adapter and this app. However, after the first Bluetooth connection and the first set up of the app, I wondered why those problems had happened. It's really what I want. Thank Pavel Hulevich for building this app.
I tried almost a dozen different apps, and this one was the easiest to use, found the codes I needed, and cleared the check engine light so that my remote auto start would function again until I could get the part fixed. The only thing I'd change is to get more specific details about the specific part needed to fix the code.
