I am using this with the Kobra OBD2 Android Bluetooth device. This Fusion app will not connect to it. I've gotten free apps to work but of course when I pay for an app it doesn't work. This may work fine for your device though. I wish they listed devices this app is compatible with. I spent a few hours troubleshooting and tried every which way to get a connection.
Had to buy scan tool, then the app, then 2 extra add on for toyota for $75 and $15, and it still cant read transmission fluid temperature. ALSO: THEY HAVE ADD ON PACKAGES FOR ALMOST ALL CAR MAKES. THEY DONT TELL YOU TAT YOU HAVE TO BUY THOSE TO SEE MORE THAN THE BASIC OBD SCAN PARAMETERS. Got the BlueDriver and its way more user friendly than this.
App Will not connect unless engine is running. Then when you go to read the DTC's a message pops up advising that you may want to turn the engine off because it may interfere with the engine. I turn the engine off but keep vehicle in on position and it disconnects. The only way to connect is with engine running. Requested refund through google play. If this is corrected I may return and buy it again. Also the app didn't have an in app search for BMW DTC p1112. The free app did.
App works very well, though there are a few quirks. 80% of the time connection is super quick. The other 20% I have to retry 3-8 times. I would love to see the ability to show minimum and maximum read values in addition to current value. Also the ability to have a gauge tile change color based on current value would be fantastic. Had the app for a while now. Was working great a couple of years ago, but now it's very buggy. Takes numerous attempts to connect via Wi-Fi, can no longer record logs as none of the buttons on the relevant page works (start, stop and menu buttons, meaning I have to force close to exit or get back to main menu). Same OBD device as before. Hopefully issues will be fixed soon.
Works well when it connects to a paired adapter. Problem is getting it to connect. Elm 237 Not sure but may be related to having internet access. Once I drive away from the house it often works when a cell connection is made. July 6, 2022 still fails to connect most times. Used the same adapter with others and connects easily but like this interface much better, just unusable
I purchased this car diagnostic program expecting it to include all the features I needed, as advertised. Unfortunately, after buying it, I discovered that I have to pay an additional $15 to access the essential services I assumed were already included in the initial price. This lack of transparency feels misleading and unfair. If you're considering purchasing this program, I highly recommend checking exactly what you're getting for the price to avoid disappointment.
Very useful, very easy to use! Has the ability to read engine codes, readiness monitors, shows freeze frame info and it can show you live real time data. You can take logs and interpret them yourself or send them to someone else for diagnosing if necessary. A MUCH better deal than buying some crappy(and more expensive)code reader from an auto parts store that usually can't do anything more than simply give you a code to look up on the internet.
So let me get this straight? You just rendered this app useless , as it forces itself to go through Android auto which doesn't even work. Why not just let the app be used on the phone even though your phone's connected to another device via Android auto so that you can still see the gauges. There's no point in even having this device that I purchased if it doesn't show me the live gauges.......
Does not support all PID's like car scanner. no option for PM accumulation ratio
