Reviews for OBD JScan

← Back to OBD JScan

Got this for my 08 Ram with high hopes and wasn’t disappointed, definitely not the forscan equivalent of ford vehicles but it is definitely on its way and worth the price. I like being able to disable my tpms and set up my truck to my liking so this did what it should

I usually don't leave reviews but this app sure deserves it. Not only is the app great but the support is spot on. I contacted them through Facebook messenger and got a response within about five minutes and found the info I was looking for. I have a Jeep Wrangler JKU which had a mic and antenna on the window but I never was able to figure out how to connect it to Bluetooth. I tried talking to my local Jeep dealer and they couldn't figure out how to enable the Bluetooth either. 1 quick message to the devs of this app and they guided me in the right direction. I now have Bluetooth enabled on my jeep radio. Not only do I have Bluetooth I also have automatic lights, automatic door locking and flicker prevention for my LED's all these features didn't come enabled with the car as standard even though it is an unlimited model. If you have a Jeep this has to be one of the best investments you can make for it. It even cleared the error codes when I had to replace my speed sensors. You don't want to know how much the dealership tried to charge me to do this simple fix. I offered to make a donation to show my appreciation and they said just leave a review. That's some awesome customer service right there. Thanks so much for this app and for the assistance you have given me while using it. Great buy for any Jeep owner.

With jscan and a security bypass cable I was able to Program 2 Ram 1500 Fobik fobs, enabled remote keyless entry and remote start function for 2018 Ram 1500 Tradesman,

Best little tool, work perfectly for diagnostics, changing tire size, gear ratios, and turning off air pressure sensors. and if you have a Rubicon, you can turn on or off your Lockers in any position, 2wd, 4wd, and of course, 4wd low. this is the best feature I like.

FYI...I used the app to change my tire size on my 25 Wrangler Rubicon and it basically shut down my BCM. Lost collision avoidance, lane assist, cruise control, high beams, etc. Unless I did something wrong, be careful.

This app is an absolute must have for any home mechanic. I have used it for years on my jeep wrangler and love having the ability to diagnose codes, program parameters, and see live data on many aspects of my vehicle. Would highly recommend!

just bought the app, so fare its very in depth. lots of features, will update after using it more. been using for few weeks now, still exploring all the features. wish it had an option for performance tuning for higher octane fuel and cold air intake. Hopefully they update and add the performance tunes 🤞😜🤞

Most user friendly programmer - a little buggy I would easily give this app 5 stars if it weren't so buggy. Had problems communicating with ECM using recommended iCar module. Communication tests fail. I have to delete app and reinstall after each use, then re-pair module. A little frustrating, but when working this app is absolutely amazing!! Adding presets such as economy, power, etc. would put the icing on the cake. Thank you to the developer for their work on this!

It is very nice to have an application work as advertised. From the very start it worked. Purchasing app was very easy and so was activating the license. Disconnect from any bluetooth devices and the obdII device will show up. No need to purchase a spendy device. I purchased a Veepeak unit for $11 and it worked first try to adjust settings for my 2016 Jeep Wrangler. Great product highly recommended.

Neat app, not usable for my Jeeps. I have two ZJs and a WJ. You guys have to make an option for the best GC ever (and the most popular run for jeep) 186k Grand Cherokees sold from 96-98. The interface won't be too complicated, as there were just enough electronics to make it comfy/more efficient... Without having to take a refresh course on new programming languages in order to change a tire. Thank you for working on the WJ part of the app. I can't find a scan tool with abs functions that work!

I was having problems connecting my BAFX adapter to my 2013 jeep JK via Bluetooth. Sent them a message on FB but the time zones didn't line up because they're in Europe and it's late over there. I was frustrated because I was able to get another app to work no problem and told them of my frustration. They walked me through it at 0130 AM their time. User error of course. This app, while a little confusing to find the adapter during start up, is far superior to the other app I used "OBD Mary.

This is a great and useful app if you own a jeep I have changed my tire size, along with also being able to turn on high beam, low beam and fogs running all at the same time. Turning off the seat belt buzzer and the tpms sensors is awesome also. I just wish that the couple pages that have all the system abbreviations like abs, aac, and all the rest would tell you what they stand for. I feel like there is so much more I could do if I only knew what all those abbreviation stand for.

Fantastic app, worth every penny. My Ram 1500 had air suspension issues. The dealer, and even a tire store could not figure out how to fix the leaning truck. Bought one of the approved dongles and this app as a last ditch effort. I recalibrated and leveled the truck myself in about 20 minutes, and it wasn't even that hard. Modified other little handy things like fog lights that stay on with the brights, replacing lightbulbs with LEDs with no flickering, and getting rid of the seatbelt dinging.

I used this to enable my fog light switch. My jeep came with a fog light switch on the turn signal stalk, but it did not have fog lights installed. When I installed my own fog lights they did not work because the computer wasn't programmed to allow me to use them. This enabled them flawlessly! Only wish I had found it sooner/easier. I'll take anything over paying a dealer to enable such a basic functionality. Thank you so much!

What a difference an app makes! I drive a 2011 JKU with 35 inch tires and a 3.5" dealer installed lift. Always wondered if the computer onboard the Jeep was updated after the lift, which I found out is was not via this app. Using a GPS to determine the actual speed, I found it was 4MPH too fast. I then adjusted the actual speed to be correct using the app. It is AMAZING what the change did by simply correcting for the 4MPH caused by the tire size. It is abundantly obvious that the (auto) transmission shifts when it should now as compared to not shifting as it should before. The Jeep runs so much smoother and fuel economy has improved. All the other app features are great, but I am so thrilled for this easy and quick adjustment.

This app is freaking awesome. I converted a factory halogen light JL Wrangler to all LEDs. Two trips to the dealer and they could not figure out how to code it correctly, even though I used all OEM parts. This application in conjunction with the cable and Bluetooth module they recommended on their website and I did what the dealer couldn't in about 10 minutes. All my friends with Wranglers are downloading the app and buying the same cable/BT setup as mine (under 60 bucks).

Excellent app. Worth the money for in app purchase, though you can still see a lot of information in free version. Do yourself a favor and buy one of the listed compatible dongles. I had two very cheapies and neither would allow full functionality (but did allow to connect and read codes). Impressive amount of modification options. Just a really great app if u are modding a Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge. There is a free demo mode that requires no dongle but let's you see what is available for your model.

This is an awesome app and definitely worth buying! I have a 2017 Dodge Charger Pursuit AWD and was able to enable the performance pages and It has an option at the tap of a button to switch between AWD & RWD and enables line lock/burnout mode as well, also reads diagnostic codes and has many other options as well that I haven't quite gotten into yet or figured out how to use... Definitely worth the $25 though!

I don't usually post review but this app deserves one. It allows you to change tire air pressure sensor and tire size/drive ratio settings to accommodate changes you've made to your vehicle. It also has tons of other options and modules that can be activated and deactivated through the app. If your not sure it will do what you need d/l it and browse the demo. It does require a OBD2 adapter, but they're inexpensive. 100% worth the price. A big thanks to the developers.

Update: 11/28/24 - after troubleshooting for a day or so, figured out what the problem was, seems as if it was on my end with phone. Thank you for your quick response here! Update: 11/26/24 After the app updated twice within a few days, not working like it did. For example tire size adjustment never finishes then I have to back out and keep getting a error the app closes. 2015 wrangler. Better than expected!!
