I've found this app surprisingly helpful with dealing with catastrophic thinking and obsessive ruminating. It really is very simple but very effective, and so quick to keep up with every day. One area for improvement is the number of typos in some areas, especially Anxiety II. It is distracting but hopefully something they can get fixed.
Reviews for OCD.app Anxiety, Mood & Sleep
It's portrayed as a great app with a blanket of options and useful tools for OCD which is my case, but if you skip the free trial option/eventual subscription, and continue, you will be allowed to register some emotions and then the app will glitch constantly and no features (zero) will be available to use. It's such a shame that the lust for money will literally have the app crash on you instead of having a few features available in the free mode for people who can't afford the whole app pack.
Great app! I do not focus on how fast i go through it, but work to internalize some of the advice as different way of viewing things... One of my fav sayongs is - feeling pass, change, and transform..... Would also be nice if the app included mental compulsions, such as analyzing and reassurance in the assessment... Also, could use an update on a few spelling errors.
It would have been great. I finished my 1st (& only) journey in one day in under 1 hour. I had high hopes & enjoyed what was available to me, but please be mindful that there could be kids between 12-17 (like me) using this to try and treat themselves who cannot afford membership because they do not have a bank account of their own. I wouldn't mind seeing ads between exercises, but I can't buy this if I don't have a bank account, which I don't & this was the only app I found helpful for my OCD.
Really great app that has helped me tremendously with how I respond to intrusive thoughts. It's a great little practice everyday that really helps instill good practices. It took a little getting used to, but now I look forward to using the app every day because I can already see how much it has helped me. I paid for the premium and do not regret it. Great app, highly recommend!
At first, I thought the statement sorting was part of the assessment, but apparently that's the part that's supposed to be beneficial. There's very little explanation and the app tries to sell you on premium before even really showing what the free version does. I am willing to pay for an app if I think it will help me, but this doesn't seem to be the one.
I get that there is going to be charges. but there's no way to know whether or not you are going to be uncharged after your 7 day free trial? Google Play doesn't show a subscription for me but since I uninstalled this app, I have no way to check through the app. I can't afford to me charged for this! as someone with OCD/anxiety, they should make it clear whether you are "unsubscribed" or not. I didn't give them a payment method but still in can't help feeling that i will be charged?!
I started the 1 week free trial and then forgot about it, and I've now been charged $89 for the yearly fee. I don't want it as I was just scoping it out for a friend who has OCD. How do I get refunded for it? There wasn't a reminder via email or anything from them that the trial would end in a couple of days, even though they say they'll send a reminder. I got a horrible shock to see $89 removed from my bank account for an app I don't even want! EDIT: Google has since approved a refund.
I had high hopes for this app but I'm a bit let down. There are lots of grammatical errors across different units (OCD/Anxiety/Depression) that made it difficult to understand and to work out whether it was a positive or negative statement. It also felt a bit too repetitive. The monthly price is insanely high for that quality level when it's predominantly text based. I understand it's a translated app. However the overall idea is really good. It just needs more work and some decent proofreading.
I've found this app incredibly effective at helping to manage anxiety, perfectionism and adhd. Best of its kind by far. Yes it can seem repetitive and simple, but I think that's the point. It's about daily practice coaching you to have more positive conversations with yourself, changing the stories that govern your behaviours. Honestly it's great. I do agree with one reviewer that it covers more than just OCD. Maybe time for an update to the name and better clarity on the different modules.
