Description
Been using Octopi Launcher for a couple months now. It’s basically a home screen app that tries to do things a bit differently. Pretty solid if you’re into customizing your phone.
Here’s what you do: you can create these cool widget stacks that scroll automatically, and you can even pin a widget right on your home screen. There’s also folders for your apps, and you can use tags to organize them. And the app drawer is way more visual – you see the actual app icons instead of just a list.
Look, if you’re into customizing your Android experience, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the learning curve is a bit steep at first – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.
Editor Opinion
So here's my honest take on Octopi Launcher. I've tested a bunch of home screen apps and this one's pretty unique. The customization options are great, and I love the scrolling widget stacks. And makes my home screen look way cooler than the boring grid layout. But it does take some time to get used to, and the ads can get a little annoying if you don't pay. Still, if you want to make your phone feel more personal, this is a solid option.
