I passed my theory test at my first attempt, using this app was quite helpful for me. It helped know topics I was struggling with so i could focus my attention more on this. I would recommend a million times
Reviews for Official DVSA Theory Test Kit
← Back to Official DVSA Theory Test KitGood for cars and motorcycle ONLY. I was looking for motorbike and LGV theory training straight from the DVSA but this doesn't cover any other categories than A and B. PSV and LGV will have to find other training such as Driving for success.
perfect app! every question that came up in my theory had been on this app. hazards are easy to use and give you a real good idea of how it'll be in your theory. I downloaded this app on the 10th sept and passed 1st time on the 10th of Oct. definitely recommend 👌
Severe lack of images where one would expect them - the lessons are mostly just dry text. Signs, markings, crossings etc are all described by text and not shown as a picture.
I loved doing revision with this app and it really helped me remember the information required and I passed my test first time using this app. I couldn't recommend it more and let's to people passing first time too!! 💪🏻
love the reading sections, you can study a topic in depth and test yourself on it I did that [reading and testing] for all the topics and now I feel as ready as ever for the theory test. I also take mock tests and continue to pass each one in half the time limit. I love how easy it is to customise learning experiences as you can change how long a quick test is and what topic you want to be tested on making sure that you master everything. i love the tracker as it makes it easy to track progress!
Theory test passed first time. Amazing for practicing the multiple choice, however I would have appreciated more clips for the hazard perception, and I found the clips on the actual test more difficult that the practice ones
I started using this app in August and took my test September 01...passed on my very first time-Thank God! I highly recommend this app and just practice every day. Tip for the hazard is to just click on anything that looks like a hazard. Best of luck.
Go for this app. It's extremely efficient and organised, each area is categorised clearly which helped me associate specific questions to specific sections. It's the best to prepare you for the test, yes mock tests are great but you can't target weaker areas with mocks. What's special about this app is you can practice 20 questions for each section. I was really lacking in 'vehicle handling' like the gear questions, so I answered the questions over & over again for this area until they stuck
Can't fault it at all, used it massively over the 3 months prior to my theory test and passed first time with 47/50 for the multiple choice and 66/75 for the Hazard Perception. It's a fantastic resource!
I studied heavy on this app, personally I didn't do the individual studies for each topic but instead I just kept doing Mock after Mock after Mock. Hazard Perception was great too and helped me pass with flying colors. I am now looking to book my driving test, I recommend this app to anyone who is looking to get the best out of a theory practice app. one off payment of £5, worth it. None of the other apps I have used have been as helpful as this one.
Reasonable study materials. An opportunity to revisit the same set of quizzes to reinforce study materials. reasonable materials to read quickly which connects to practicality when on the road. The answers provide further explanations as to why an answer is correct. Nice 👍
Excellent App but requires UI Modernisation. I passed my theory test 1st time by just using this App for 1 day. I really like the UI bit I feel like it could be improved by making the corners of buttons and images slightly rounded around 10px border radius. then it would look more aesthetic and modern.
keeps on taking charges every month whereas I have tried to unsubscribe it. literally, charged for the last 3 months when I haven't used it. I can't see the app in Google subscription. so hard to get rid of it. it's useful but I don't need it for a while.
It is the perfect app for revising for your theory. I left revising for my theory only 4 days before my theory test, and it helped me learn everything I needed to know easily through the mock tests. I can easily vouch for this as it helped me get 49 out of 50 on my first and only attempt on my theory and let me pass the first try. It is a great tool and really cheap too, so I definitely recommend it. and it shouldn't take anyone more than 1 or 2 attempts as it is just common sense.
Passed my theory test first time using the app! This app is so great, many of the practice questions were actually in my exam. The app is very easy to navigate and once all material has been read, all the questions have been attempted and all hazard perception clips have been done you are more than ready for the exam. I would highly recommend this app!
The app lacks a lot of theory test content and splits into 4 paid apps instead of 1. After £4.99 you’re pushed to buy the DVSA guide for another £4.99. Total cost £19.95. A competitor offers all 4 apps, fully up to date, award winning, no.1 on Google Play for £5.99. No Google account save, only local, so data is lost if you reset or change device.
Helped me pass the theory test with a very high score. The app is pretty poor for hazard perception as it won't rotate to landscape on my phone therefore I didn't score very highly on that although I got an ok pass still. Definitely a MUST HAVE for passing. Questions are pretty similar to the actual test albeit font and wording vary slightly for some questions.
Nice simple questions for the most part. However some are wrong, there is a question that states you are on the motorway and a car pulls in to close behind you, the answer is you slow down... this would cause a crash. The correct answer should be either you pull into another lane if it is safe to do so, or you maintain your speed. Video clips dont work. Instructions are to go to settings > video packs > download, but the app doesn't have any settings.
Could not recommend this more, it has been beyond helpful. It could be gamified a little better and the Hazard Perception is not immediately obvious to navigate. Sometimes I found the back button (within the app, or using Androids default navigation) would sometimes get stuck on the "Study" or "Practice" page, but quitting and re-opening the app fixed it. That being said, despite them couple of small issues, it's still very usable and helpful so I'm h to give 5 stars.
