Reviews for Offline Music Player: Play MP3

Tim Rohweder

This is probably the best music player I've used. I dig the themes and colors you guys use for the screen and the fact u can change themes and cover photos for the songs is awesome. I'll eventually upgrade to premium soon. But I wanna see how good your guys shuffle is. I used some other mp3 app b4 this one and I wasn't impressed with. Didn't include as many features and the shuffle always tended to play the same songs and idk why. But I will check it out on here. I know I like all the extras

So I was sooo unhappy when they took away the Google music app. Like devastated. I had tons and tons of music on my phone that I no longer had any way to listen to. I was ticked. I gave up, made a YouTube playlist and dealt with dozens and dozens of ads. Hubby told me about this so I cautiously downloaded it, but it glitches! It will just stop in the middle of a song for no reason. If I go over bumps it's done for. I really wanted to love this but it needs a lot of work to be great. Please fix!!

This is the best offline music player I've ever used. Song quality is great, it's easy to navigate and will send me a notification saying songs are downloaded. I love it. Another great feature is being able to edit the song name, artist, album and cover art for the song. This is a great app. EDIT: dropping a star because I've noticed that when I'm in a phone call the music keeps playing in the background with no sound. If this could be fixed I'd go back to a 5 star rating.

Letting me pull and drag the songs in my playlist to arrange them as I wish is the best thing that I can ask for, and it's free! The equaliser and volume boost options are an added bonus. Ads do pop up when you open a playlist or so, but I've finally found the music app that will last me a lifetime, so a small price to buy the lifetime version is well worth it. monthly and yearly subscription is also available at affordable prices.

I really enjoy this app, it has a couple of issues, like it doesn't always properly display the song or where it's at on its playthrough. Sometimes it gets stuck on the prior song played and you can't see where the current songs progression marker is because of that, but that's the worst I've seen it do, it's been great aside from that! I just wish you could do a little more with the album and song covers. This app, unfortunately, doesn't allow gif files as cover art

The app works well, and the ads aren't terribly obtrusive. It loses a star because, as far as I can tell, there is no way to play albums in the original track order, unless one manually renames all of the tracks to add a number and then sorts alphabetically. As someone whose albums are primarily soundtracks or musicals, this is extremely frustrating.

This thing is a disaster. First the EQ didn't work right. They made it work a little better. NOW the folder, song, album ect. are a COMPLETE MESS!!! There's NO rhyme or reason how ANYTHING is listed and no matter what I select such as by name ect. it doesn't effect it. Also when I try to use the EQ the volume gets very unstable. Finally...every time I try to change an audio setting it goes to the pay screen and I have to remove this before each setting change. Only reverb works OK, nothing else.

This is one of my first reviews. It's an amazing app. Let's you categorize the music in to whatever genre you want. Complete control of the way the music plays for absolute free. Even has a one time pay option instead of just subscriptions. The subscriptions are very affordable. You can customize so much and even boost the volume. This is an amazing app and I highly reccomend.

I've been using this app a while. It's good mostly, but it isn't perfect. The playlists don't play the music I'm the order I put them in which is problematic when listening to a musical, and even if it did there is no way to change the order of the songs once in the playlist so if you accidentally put one in the wrong order you have to manually remove all of the ones after to redo it which sucks with 20+ songs. There is no way to loop one song, which is a basic feature for mp3 players usually.

Just too many ads! I know they're necessary but as soon as I open the app, change a song, search, I have to get through an ad... another gripe is if I'm looking to search for an artist and select a song by the artist, rather than playing all the songs, it will only play the one song you clicked. Not a big deal but I'm use to a continuous play. it does play all my songs, I have some in a diff format, and it will play those, so that's cool. but too many ads man, can't enjoy my music like that.
