subscriptions are incredibly overpriced and don't give you all of the benefits promised. I accidentally swiped left on someone and the rewind button didn't do anything. After deleting one account and trying to make another, my phone number no longer worked even though it was no longer associated with any accounts. I currently have no access to the app due to the fact that I cannot create an account with my phone number anymore.

The app makes it easy to change your location and it is full of users with fake locations who want to immigrate to the US. It is also full of catfish scammers. And there are profiles from people who uninstalled the app. To see who likes you for free, remove all your filters (distance, age, etc) and go to the recommended tab, swipe until your likes reach zero.

Used to be by far the best dating app out there, now it's just about as bad as the rest of them... Since MatchGroup took it over they've gradually eliminated every feature that differentiated it in any significant positive way from any of the others in their portfolio, and unfortunately they now own almost every dating app of any significant size on the market (the only notable exception being Feeld, which you should definitely check out instead if you're ENM/poly). Not going to miss it at all.

The app is buggy. I can't look at any of the intros people send me, even one at a time. It's much more functional on a desktop or laptop than the phone app, which is fine for me, who last used this platform in 2013 and remember it best on the desktop. I've always liked that I have prompts to answer that showcase more personality, but the AI tools the company uses claimed an image I uploaded of a friend and I hiking next to a waterfall (that was absolutely PG) was "inappropriate" smh.

I'd give the app 0 stars if I could. Came back to it after years, and man, did it change for the worse. I get limiting certain features as a way to incentivise people to get a premium subscription to access more features, but I can't even view my likes in the free version? Also, I had like 15 likes almost immediately upon finishing the sign up process, which is definitely odd. I know things move fast on the internet, but 15 likes within 10 seconds of joining? They're definitely inflating likes.

The app used to be decent. I received a lot of responses from people from outside the country and a few scammers. Their paid A-List subscription changed to a "Basic" member subscription in which they removed features A-List members used to have such as being able to see who liked you. The "Premium" members that pay a lot more money now have those features. I do not think it's worth it. They charged me recently for an a-list subscription a couple of days ago but I don't have access to anything.

423 Questions seems to be the limit, as it's not giving me any more. They need to add functionality to select more than one pic to upload at a time, gif support for messages, etc. Also, swipe sensitivity is excessive, I've accidentally swiped left more times than I can count, barely touching. Distance preferences mean nothing, apparently. It also has a bad habit of saying it's my turn when I sent the first message! Also seems to be a visual limit on the Block List.

Still see commercials despite the hefty sum I paid for "premium". Several features are still not included despite the hefty sum I paid. Once expired, I'm done with this archaic app. The app was dead. Started receiving "likes" one week before expiring. Using algorithms to get me hooked and pay for an app without potential matching is far from my intentions. Bye!

Even if you pay for premium, it doesn't upgrade you. There's no phone number to reach them at, just emails. The app crashes all the time. This app was so much better when you could rank how important questions were to you and write more on each one. Still a cool way to connect with people, but could be so much better.

This app is the biggest POS of all the apps out there. the customer service sucks too. the phone verification process with the code always says my number isn't valid, and I can never sign in. even with trouble shooting, it still doesn't work. I paid for the app, and suddenly, I couldn't sign in. DO NOT PAY FOR IT. THEY WILL ONLY SCREW YOU OUT OF YOUR MONEY

App used to be really good about 10 years ago. It went downhill fast. You used to be able to just search your local area and view the profiles that show up. Now it's just a swipe game like every other app. Now it wont even use your location preferences. The discover and match section used to honor your radius setting but now it just shows you anyone in the country and you have to pay for it to take your distance preferences seriously. Total cash grab just to match with bots in the Philippines

Probably by far the worst dating app I've tried. Your preferences don't seem to matter much, even with a paid subscription. I rarely have anyone available in my area, even with the distance set to 50 miles. Even when I do, they don't match my preferences at all. The only people I ever get trying to match with me are on an entirely different continent. Total waste of time and money.

I've been on OkCupid 2 days and it is awful. Half the time I can't even access the app, and get a message "it's not you, it's us. we're having trouble with our servers" and then when I do actually get on the app I get messages telling me "there was an error sending your SuperLike. please try again" and men I pass on keep reappearing in my list. I reported this all through "contact us" and haven't heard back. Seriously regretting having signed up to 6 months of this error-riddled app!

I've used this app in the past. I remember it being a lot more user-friendly and reasonably priced. Now it feels clunky and seems to be copying Tinder and their "swiping." It seems like they've gone out of their way to make the free version difficult to use. The paid version is now 40 dollars a month, which seems excessive to me. I got messages/intros from a couple of people, and it's unclear how to reply. It seems I'm only allowed to even see one intro at a time for free. This app sucks now.

Haven't been able to get into this app in a long time, the app hasn't even had an update in over 6 months from what I can tell. I think this is gonna end up being abandonware soon. This is what happens when you drop the model that made people interested in your platform and just try to copy everyone else, they just go to that app you're trying to copy. Loved when you guys had the open chat rooms.

This app is almost unusable without both you and the other people you like having a subscription. You can't see likes or intros unless the other person has liked you. You used to be able to see when someone was last active but that has been removed. The monthly rate is $40 and I wouldn't be surprised if folks give up on this app and never open it again. There's also a limited amount of likes you can send per day without the subscription. All of that together makes this a waste of time.

As the name suggests it's okay. A major issue is it being glitchy, sometimes freezes and have to close it and reopen, many people complain they are unsure in intros or messages are even sending due to the abilitity to keep sending messages but not showing they sent. There are a lot of filters however they are useless because they don't actually work. Now I'm getting ads for other dating apps on OkCupid? Needs a lot of work

I don't pay for dating apps. They all want too much money. I've also not had any luck (not the fault of the apps.) So why 4 stars? I feel like OkCupid, out of all the ones I have tried, lets you express yourself. There are a multitude of prompts you can fill out, all having a very generous character limit. I love seeing people who also have their profiles filled out with a lot of information. I really appreciate the freedom here and feel like that sets it apart.

For over 3 months now, I log in and try to go through intros. I cannot afford to pay. There is 1 intro that I cannot delet3 or block the person... I guess he cancelled his account? But I cannot go through all the intros because it won't let me get rid of it! This is awful. And upward? To find y'all are in charge of it too? Please fix!

Total rip off. I had a 100 mile limit set and started getting matches. Started getting some matches which of course are blurred until you pay. Paid for the membership and when they were unblurred were not only not within the 100 mile limit, but were not even in this hemisphere. I think Africa where where the closest matches were from. Absolutely not was advertised by the app for what they do. Is a McG app like Plenty of Fish, and Match, will not use any of them after this!!!
