I've been having issues placing orders using this app. When I get to the payment portion, it tells me that there was a problem with my card and that I needed to delete it and re-add it. Even after I delete my card and re-add it, I'm still unable to complete my order. So I go to the website and try place my order with no issue. I just downloaded an update for the app, hoping the issue would be fixed, now I can't even access it. It keeps telling me to try again later.

I used to order from olive garden regularly, at least for me, but lately I've been having a lot of issues with the app. I attempt to add a new card and it keeps telling me it doesn't match the user or it's not logged in. So I logout and attempt to log back in and it tells me that it isn't available and to try again later. So, tonight, I got pasta for the family from Friday's instead. Disappointed twice.

App is pretty useless when you can't order. It literally tries to pop up a window and it just doesn't and won't let you continue to add stuff to cart. This is the reason I didn't order any Olive Garden today. Time to give my money to another restaurant today. The pickup details window kept just staying under the screen and would come up. It's pretty dumb because prior to the last update it worked just fine.

Every time I place an order, the payment fails. I try paying by saved card, something doesn't work, I fix it and try again, it fails again. I switch to PayPal, it fails multiple times. I close the app and reopen it, payments fail again. Finally I reenter all my CC info from scratch, and finally it works. Then I get a call from my bank that they're freezing my account because of too many attempts in quick succession to make purchases on my account. I'm ordering by phone from now on.

Very handy mobile app. It's so convenient when ordering on the go and also checking on wait times. Highly recommend this app if you are a frequent patron. Only pitfall is the credit card scanner, doesn't pick up quite easily as other mobile apps do. Tried several times with different phones and credit cards. But all in all it's a fantastic app!

Honestly, I don't understand the point of this app. The "hold a place in line" thing is useless when you reserve from five minutes away but still have to wait 20 minutes for a table upon checking in. There's no loyalty program to speak of - no rewards for money spent, dining visits or to-go orders, which makes no sense (and the marketing emails hold nothing, either). Competitors figured out app benefits, usage and loyalty years ago; OG is just so behind even as customers get less for their $$$.

I live in Hawaii (on the island of Oahu), and I'm trying to create an account. When I get to the step to choose my Olive Garden location, it says there are no locations near me (there are actually 2 - Kapolei and Ala Moana). Yet when I press the Locations button on the app it correctly identifies the 2 locations near me. But if you try to join a wait list from the app, it tells me no locations near me. There is a disconnect going on with Olive Garden app and with the creation of an account.

So the whole reason I downloaded the app was to be able to easily sign up for the list so we could cut down on our time waiting. The entire drive of 20 minutes, I kept checking and it said no wait. So then we get to the restaurant and there's suddenly a 30 minute wait and the hostess just says that the "system is slow in updating." So what's the point of even having that feature if it doesn't work? Overpromising and under delivering!

The app never works. Have tried three separate times. Always says sorry there's been an error, try again later. The only time I came close and it delayed my pickup until the next day. Tried to fix but it wouldn't let me. Gave up. Update: Used the app once or twice during the pandemic thinking I'm being helpful to restaurant workers... once again, went to place an order last night... get all the way to the end and told order would be ready at 830. It was 455. Tonight app won't even connect.

Can't even order! I've tried for 20 minutes to add a 2 different credit cards. No matter what I put in or which card I use, it says "Please enter valid credit card details" repeatedly. It will not let me add a payment method. So, then I tried to just place an order. When I select something to add to the cart, I get another message that says "Please select phone type" without that even being an option anywhere on the page. I'm sure that's another glitch. Frustrated. Deleting. Eating elsewhere now

I've given up and I'll just use the website via browser. Every time I try to use the app I get errors that no payment has been entered (it has), or to select a future date (Um, I want dinner today) or some other weirdness. I'm so tired of fighting this app. And even when it's working, when you're ordering salad alone you can't modify it, and they took the special instruction box off each item. Not worth having.

Was working fine until about 6 months ago, I have tried at least 3 times over the last few months to order through the app for pickup- each time I get to the checkout screen and "pay" and oops "an error occurred" and my order won't go through. No other information or explanation why. Can you please fix this? I'm not going to wait on hold to order over the phone so I always just end up getting something else. 12/17/22 update. So doesn't work even after the updates. So disappointing.

You can only use one gift card per order. I have a gift card with a $1 balance, so it would be nice to be able to combine gift cards (hint - Starbucks has a nice setup for that). Also, gift cards loaded into the app aren't able to be used at the restaurant, only for online orders. That was a very unpleasant surprise when it came time to pay the bill. Really, the app is only helpful for to go orders and for perusing the menu ahead of time.

My first time using the app to order at any Olive Garden and it works: my order went through without issue and I'll be leaving to pick up our food shortly. The hardest part was figuring out what I wanted to order. Update: from my first order using the App until recently, something went wrong as I tried to start a to-go order and I tap "Add to Cart", I get a pop up about my pick up time being changed and it doesnt actually add anything to the cart.

The app, when it works, is fantastic. For the last few months, we will try to place orders and then at checkout the problems start. One by one, items will be removed off of the order claiming they are unavailable. Sometimes the entire order will state unavailable. So then you have to call in and sit on hold to place the same order. At first I thought it was an out of stock issue, but every time I call in I can get everything that the app wouldn't let me. Kills the convenience factor.

Been going to Olive Garden 1-3 times monthly for years so our sample size is huge. The app used to be entirely wrong about wait times, but has been improved. My biggest issue is sometimes the join waitlist feature doesn't work. You press join, it greys out and nothing happens. Close and try again? No change. It doesn't go through. When you tell the host, they're just like "Oh." I get they can't fix it but they couldn't care less. Maybe it should be reported? They have the best waiters though.

Used to work well, then stopped working weeks ago. Can't add items to cart, so it's useless. It asks pickup or delivery when you start an order, then asks again when you try to add an item to the cart. But there's no way to submit your selection when adding an item to the cart, so you're just stuck. I'm a lead mobile API developer, so naturally I tried logging out and back in, clearing cache, clearing storage, and reinstalling. The website broke around the same time.

In the last month or so, the app has started glitching, and now it's to the point where I can't actually add anything to my cart. It has become completely useless. When I add something, a pop up tries to come from the bottom of the screen with pickup details, but nothing shows up. Before this started happening, when I made changes during the checkout process, the option to actually checkout disappeared, even though nothing was wrong. Please fix the app!! We order almost weekly.

We usually order side items such as a vegetable to go with the main dishes. The app has the main items, but I cannot order side dishes such as vegetables in it. I have to still call the location to get asparagus, broccoli, or other items. I know veggies can sometimes be seasonal, but some other companies' apps have an option to request a veggie with secondary selection if not available.

I don't order here often, but when I do I usually use the app or the website. As others have stated, a pop-up from the bottom for ordering details is bugged and won't let you add to the cart. However, the website seems to have the same issue, so I think this is a larger problem than a bugs on the app. Happy to change my review when this is fixed as I found the app convenient and easy to navigate. Each time I've used it in the past it was a flawless experience from ordering to curbside pickup.
