very easy to use. I love that I can find a transaction I made 2 minutes before and it's there in my account statement with the details of the purchase. my favorite is the rewards! finding them and activating them and then watching my points rise until I decide to cash them in is pretty cool. there's many more perks and benefits that I really enjoy as well.
Reviews for OnePay – Mobile Banking
← Back to OnePay – Mobile BankingI've enjoyed using One and have not had any issues up until now. Made an online purchase a few days ago with the amount being removed from my account. The order was canceled a few hours later. The pending transaction suddenly disappeared from my account and the payment that was removed from my balance was never returned. They are saying that the purchase amount was never charged to my account. But it indeed was! Therefore I will be closing my account in the near future
Excellent options and all-around great banking experience. The only thing that would make it better is the ability to link one account on the personal capital app. Update 5/10/25. this was a great app, but they do not pay out the rewards offered! The first time I tried rewards for a gas station, it was supposed to be 0.14 cents per gallon. For 17 gallons, I received 0.53 cents, which is nowhere near what was offered. then it happened again, and support had no idea what was going on. so I'm done.
I really like the One Pay card, but the app keeps freezing up after I enter my passcode, and it won't let me into my account until I fully restart my phone. I'm now having to restart my phone every time I want to use the app. I don't know how to contact the company because the automated help chat doesn't actually help. I will gladly increase my score and update the review if they can this problem. it's been going on for about a month now.
this app and bank always has issues. support chat magically gets disconnected when trying to get help. they are holding over $100 of mine hostage. they finalized part of the transaction but are still holding my overpayment amount in limbo. now they're saying I have to wait 5 days to get my money back from a transaction that's already been finalized.
I am so fed up with this card. The only reason I signed up for it was through my Walmart Plus. First and foremost, you have to only transfer $25 or more if you want an instant transfer. next up they only let you transfer a certain amount instantly per month. so if you think that you're going to be able to use this card like you can your chime or any other card you are mistaken. fees are high as well. and the notifications are out of control.
One of the highest savings percentage. Options of worldwide transfers. Cash back offers at Walmart, that will amaze you. Staff that's available, and eager to help. Deposits immediately put through. I fell in love with this app, and the blue card. The numbers are on the back of the card smaller than usual, preventing numbers from being seen easily like other cards. One Pay will stand out in the future even more than it already does. A personal favorite app of mine, with great security behind it.
They steal your money! I wasn't paying enough attention one month and it seemed like I had less than I should skip next month I kept a close eye and $20 missing here, $10 missing there.. without being accounted for! Then, they refuse to do anything about it or refund it! Plus, I made a return at a store with my card and the refund was never credited. Onepay would not help, the store wouldn't help so I was just out $150 for nothing!
I used this app every day from phone, for a long time but a couple weeks ago, things changed. All I had to do, to log in was to enter my passcode. No problem, instant access, fast, convenient, as I am always on the go and busy. A couple weeks ago it asked for my passcode as usual, but never logged in. Changed passcode but didnt help. I went to the web site after that and still got the same results. Spoke to someone on chat who said there were no changes and re-install app. Still not working!
I really like that there are no fees with this company. No monthly charge, and if you have direct deposits, the overdraft protection is a lifesaver. The bill pay is easy to use, and transferring money to other people and banks is quick and reliable, I never have to wait more than a day to see it reflected in the other accounts. Deposit/withdraw money at any Walmart, also free. It's super convenient! The app always works properly, and I love the colors and layout of everything.
They spam me with emails about all the points I have earned but the points do not ever transfer to the app. So they are useless and the emails are getting annoying hearing about more and more money that I can't actually access. I have tried several times to get help from customer service and they were not helpful in any way. They just keep giving me these generic responses that don't apply to the situation. Like oh you need to have a minimum of 25 points. Okay have 3200. That's more than 25
horrible . everytime I would make a payment it would come up error and when I relied on auto pay it wouldn't go through on its own and in the end I ended up paying a $5 fee and 5 points taken off my credit report because of them , I was only recently able to pay it all off in one payment because I reached out to customer service and complained. Would not recommend. affirm is so much better.
I had my doubts at first about using this for my spark payments because I had been used to direct deposit to my credit union checking account. But, this app is great with all of the cash back and is easy to use. I'm actually saving more money than I did before and spending less. It has a lot of great features and the debit card can be used anywhere like any bank card. I should have made the switch earlier.
Horrible app. Walmart+ lured me into using the "onepay wallet" to earn cash back. However, when trying to set up an account, I was not approved (did not even get to try to take a photo of my ID). After two hours with customer service, they could not resolve the issue. So much for the "rewards". I guess I shouldn't expect more from a company affiliated with Walmart.
They have pretty good customer service. But the rewards program is non existent. You have to spend $100 to get $1.00. (I was thinking they promise $10 per $100) I spent around $200 but only got $0.27. I thought 27 points meant $27. Also, it seems that you must use One Pay debit to get the full points, I mainly used other cards connected to my One Pay account. Or pay hundreds in one setting. Sadly It just doesn't work out for me.
This app is only good to get instant pay from Spark, but otherwise, the actual "Bank" features are terrible. I've deposited checks, and they take very long to process. If you ever have to dispute a transaction, that's also a long process. I could only recommend this if it's the only option you have or if you are using it to get paid for your spark orders. Other than that, dont use ONE. Update: I deposited a check on a Tuesday, and it is now Monday, and it still hasn't gone through. Horrible.
I haven't been able to transfer money between internal accounts for about a week. When I contacted the support chat (the only way to get support) they kept blaming me and refused to submit a bug report for an hour. The same error shows up in web and mobile. The supervisor tried to end the chat early and I'm not sure they've still done anything about it. I have emailed them and received no reply. The error persists to this day.
They had no issues taking the money from my account but when I went to put money back into that same account they needed to verify. I verified their trial deposit, but that wasn't good enough. The only verification option was to upload a statement showing a full account number. My bank does not show the full account number on my statements. Reach out to support if this happens to you as they can accept a voided check, but the site won't present that as an option unless you ask.
It's easy to use for the most part. The one thing I would love changed is the showing of all accounts combined as one amount. If I put money into savings, I DO NOT want to see it. When the app is opened and the dashboard is showing, it combines all savings AND checking with one total and it makes me think that total is what I have in my checking. I do deliveries and get paid after each delivery so my account fluctuates so frequently, it's hard to just know what is in my account
I like the app, and how I can add all my cards and transfer money to other accounts. However, the ATM page said that there would be no fee at a specific ATM. I used that ATM 4 times, because I thought there was no fee. Turns out that it's only fee free if you have One Plus. That information was extremely hard to find and they knew damn well I didn't have One Plus. I could've gone across the street to Walmart and it wouldn't been free. They refuse to refund!
