I used it once. If I remember right, for starters it costs a lite money out of your paycheck to simply be subscribed to it for use. Second of all, I once took money out early and it affected a paycheck further in the future (instead of the upcoming paycheck). I know I have an Even account but I'm not sure how to get rid of it... I haven't used it since early in my Walmart days...
Reviews for ONE@Work (formerly Even)
Literally struggling to eat before my first paycheck and I'm suggested this app. Everytime I load it up after putting in my information, it says an error has occurred. Uninstall and reinstall, log in with my number, and an error has occurred. I'd love something like this to maybe be reliable. Even People, once this is fixed and I use it, I'll change my review, but this is ridiculous. And no, I'm not going to email. The bug and all info I gained on it is listed in my review.
It has great potential, and it's only 6 bucks a month. It's still in the beta phase for my Credit Union, which isn't surprising, this app gathers details from multiple sources( I.E bank account, employee account) and streamlining that would take a while. Good custo.er service response time, not so great at resolving issues with beta related problems, blanket response is what you'd expect. It seems to work for me now though, which is handy lol
Really love this app!!! It's very helpful and and easy to use and navigate!! Has many options and tips! Love being able to get an advance should I need it! Like how you can set up to save money and budget your bills. Only issue is eventhough my accounts have been verified, it still says that something went wrong when I try to enable my even savings and I'm currently not able to use the savings tool.
While this has helped me out a lot, I feel it could be better. I submitted for an advance and didn't realize that I had to wait 3 days because of a holiday. During that wait I worked more and if there were an option to cancel the request, I could have resubmitted the request on the day after the holiday and could have requested a little more. Hopefully this will be fixed when it changes to ONE@Walmart.
Honestly, instapay & seeing hours worked on a previous day or pay period is the only good thing about it. It wasn't always that way. A lot of these reviews have the same common problem = Your app not keeping account balances current. No matter how many times I refresh the bank connection, it does not update at all. We don't need help refreshing the bank connection, your app just needs to actually do it. I can do refresh it multiple times per day, but it just displays the same incorrect info
I hate that the daily rate always fluctuates. It can show I work 8 or 9 hours and the daily rate will be $11 dollars. ( i get paid more than $11 an hr.)Then the next day I check and it will show for the same hours a different amount. Can't get the amount I need in advance because the daily rate is a hit or miss when it decides to be the right amount. Wish this could be fixed had the app over a year and it constantly does this.
Well this app would be great if it actually let you get your money early. Over 2 hours of lets get your credentials, this will take up to 10 mins.... 20 mins later, can't connect to your account. Yet it shows me how much is in my account. it's connected to my account!"We were unsuccessful in connecting to your account. Update... Why would this app have my bank as an option in the choose your bank area, only to find out it can't connect to my bank? Especially after telling me it's connected?
In the beginning it was great, now, not so much. Ever since I changed my phone number and had to redo the connection to the app, it will not connect to my bank. No matter how many times I have it "reconnect", it won't load any of my purchases after May 30th therefore I have zero clue what's gone out for what bill and how much I have left and am able to spend so other than it allowing me to get paid earlier or take some money from my check every week, it's pretty much pointless everywhere else.
I was under the impression that as a Walmart employee, I would automatically have the Even Plus services for free. Yet it still wants to charge me to upgrade to Plus so I can get my instapay. First month is free so I got what I needed as I needed. Unless I am mistaken in what was included. No hate, I actually like the app. Edit: So I did just misunderstand, still a great, helpful app.
