I’ve been using the Onn Smart TV Remote app for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you control your Onn Smart TV from your phone. Pretty cool if you’re into that kind of thing.
There’s a bunch of features – you can use it as a regular remote to change channels, adjust volume, and all that. But there’s also screen mirroring so you can share your phone’s screen on the TV. And you can even cast stuff from your phone to the TV. It’s got a lot of handy stuff.
Look, if you’ve got an Onn Smart TV, this app is worth checking out. It’s not perfect – the setup was a little tricky at first and the interface could be a bit more intuitive. But overall it gets the job done and makes controlling your TV way easier. Definitely recommend it.

So here's my take on the Onn Smart TV Remote app. I've tested a bunch of these types of apps and this one is pretty solid. It's got all the features you'd expect - remote controls, screen mirroring, casting, etc. The interface could use some polishing but it's easy enough to figure out. Not gonna lie, the setup was a bit of a pain the first time, but once it's connected it works great. Compared to the default TV remote, this is a huge upgrade in terms of functionality. If you're sick of losing your actual remote, this is a great alternative.

it was working, but recently it hasn't been connecting to my tv, it just kept on connecting to my other tvs. And I've made sure it's on the same internet....
works great but to many commercials
The application stops working 20 to 30 seconds after opening. One simply has to force close the application and open it again. I would give the app an official rating...
