If you plan to use this app to keep from you from trespassing or staying legal, don't download. This app could land you in major trouble quickly. I tested this app on their free trial, and this is what I found on my own property. 1st. Data (property lines) are not up to date. Therefore, not accurate. 2nd. GPS location accuracy was off at times as much as 10 ft. The blue gps dot didn't keep up with me. Would have to stop constantly to let 'catch up' 3rd. Overlay of P/L's don't match the GPS.

So far (still using trial), I am very impressed with this app. Will most likely buy. Slight hiccup at first but email support was quick to respond. When signing up, my home state was not an option in the initial setup. When I went back ~24 hours later, it was there. Not sure if everything was still populating or just needed a restart but it started working.

I couldn't figure it out during the introductory phase, so there is no way I'm commiting to an in-app purchase to find some value. Clearly there is plenty of data, but a bad interface, missing legend, lack of intuitive controls, and no tutorial make it un-usable. I can't see how this app has any advantage over the information available through the BLM, state game management, or a paper map from my local sporting goods store.

This a valuble app not only for hunting but for making sure you are not tresspassing. I don't know where they scrape their data from, but it pretty accurate. I have found a some instances where property lines are off a bit or belong to a different entity. All in all it is a great app. I think the price point is decent as well. There are other apps out there with less capabilities, but cost much more. It would be useful to add VR or 360 photos to individual personal points.

Best app ever created! I use it for hunting and fishing. it has helped me find new spots and helped me find access to spots that I thought were inaccessible. great work guys. a fishing layer would be nice, maybe showing types of fish/regs in that particular body of water, allowing users to add info to certain body's of water. also allowing users to do so on the hunting side of the app. just a thought, cheers

I downloaded this app for work and I work in forestry so it really helps. I'm not sure if it's the most recent update that has caused it to start glitching and shutting down and kicking you out of the app but it never wants to stay running and won't allow you to use any of the features anymore. This was an amazing app and I was thinking of purchasing a one-year subscription for my crew and I because of how much it helped us at work but now we're back to using just a GPS.

This app really disappoints. 29.99 per year for ads, stalled downloads, and did I mention ads and upgrade requests every time you open the app! It's not even that good an app, it just puts so much information in one spot you almost have to have it. Nothing disappoints me more than opening this app in the dark in the morning while hunting and having to click through at least three ads before I can see where I am.

I love this app. I use it for off-road navigation where there is no cell service. I bought a tablet to run this on, and have it sitting on the dash of my Ranger. This app can use satellites (GPS) for tracking. I can navigate the woods and record my track. Then I can find my way back out. I can set markers, etc. I can also know that I am not on someone else's property since the property lines are shown. I don't pay for many apps, but I have been very happy with this purchase. Recommended

I was 5 stars with this app, but now dropping to 2 stars because the tracker is problematic. Problem is, it will glitch out while tracking, not track the actual path you took. When I put my phone in my pack/pocket etc, then bring it out again it will ask if I want to resume track. Click yes then it just gives a straight line from the last point I stopped to the current point. Does not actually track the way I went, which is pretty useless because most times I want the measured distance, time etc

I have not had issues with onx until this year. However the issues I had were huge. For months I dealt with it freezing up on me over and over again. I lost dozens of tracks plus could not count on it while in the field. Of course I would try to get it to work & sometimes after 5 minutes of opening & closing the app I could get it to work for a minute. I would force stop the app trying to fix the issue. I tried it all. Eventually I deleted the app and reinstalled it & it is working for now.

Great when I needed it, no longer need it. Jumping through hoops to cancel. Telling me to cancel through Google play, Google is telling me I don't have any active subs. Why in the world does this app or any other app offer to take our money via sign up online but make it damn near impossible to cancel. If you can purchase online easy, make it just as easy to cancel. Extremely frustrating.

I have canceled this thing for the last several months and yet they are still charging my bank account and in fact they just charged it again. And I checked my subscriptions and I don't have one to this. This wouldn't be a problem except I'm on a very low fixed income and $15 is enough gas to get to town and back not for an app I don't even have cell signal to run anyway! Update! They verified I'd barely used it and refunded three months; amazing, thank you! :)

OnX has been a wonderful resource and has the changed the way I hunt. I still carry maps, but it is so much easier to download maps before I go anywhere, hunting or backpacking, and take a quick gander at my phone versus breaking out the paper map. With the ability to see satellite photos or topo or both is a great benefit. I would recommend it to anyone that is doing hunting or outdoor activities where a map is required. It is cheap insurance--assuming you keep your phone charged. Ha. Keep up the good work and the upgrades.

The premise of this app is solid. Download offline maps and know where land ownership changes. I like that but the product has a long way to go. The interface is not all that user friendly with way too many options that very few people would find useful. Most importantly, however, it doesn't allow downloaded maps to be transferred to external memory (i.e. an SD card). This means I was only able to store about three maps on my phone. This is a HUGE limitation I hope they fix soon. Could be a great product with some improvement.

I love this app! I am not a hunter, but a mushroom and wild edible forager. The different map layers, including the information about trees and property lines, is invaluable. It's ability to track my path is super accurate, and I love that I can save them for later so I can always find my good spots next year. Hands down, best tracking app.

I used to love this app, but recently it has failed to deliver. The tracking feature no longer works properly. The track will just work while you have the app selected and active, but the instant your phone locks or you switch to a new screen your track is as good as gone. Weirdly enough, when you try to stop the track after reopening it won't even let you stop the track. So you can't even start a new one if desired. The location also seems really slow to adapt even in the same areas I hunt.

The app worked great for being in the middle of the forest in the upper peninsula of Michigan. It was nice to see a satellite view of where I was in the thick of it. Only problems that I came up with were that some of the "trails" were not updated or marked. So, marking what time of trail (two track, walking trail, etc) would be amazing. Plus there isn't a compass feature that I could find. Seems like something as advanced as this app is should at least show you what way you are pointing...

I really like the app. Simple and easy to use. Only problem is their map of my area is 4 to 6 years old. They have a resent map tab but it's only available on the highest subscription which they don't tell you when your testing out the free version. You have to buy the basic version to find that out, then they want you to upgrade to get something simple as a map that's not 5 years old. Huntstand app the other hand gives an up to date map on their free version.

Not all the features work on an Android device. When I am offline I can't enter coordinates. A member of my hunting party got lost and was able to provide their coordinates, but I couldn't input them in OnX to find them. That is really frustrating to pay this much for an annual subscription and not have an essential feature work. Had to use my old reliable Garmin. Other than that HUGE deal breaker issue I have enjoyed the app. That poor experience in what could have been a life and death situation put a bad taste in my mouth. Their support staff didn't have a timeline for them to fix it. I was disappointed with their lack of information and planning for the app. At this point I will not renew my subscription!

This appears to be a pretty good app. My problem with it is l don't like the fact that I am signing over my credit card to them. I would purchase this app if I could make a one-time purchase for one month or one year rather than monthly or yearly recurring payments forever. They claim you can cancel any time. Good luck!! Been air dun at with other services. And I wonder if anyone besides myself has even read the agreement. If it doesn't wake you up, I'm sorry for you my friend.
