GREAT! The one missing star is because the website offers extended range for the chord analyzer. Could you please add this ability? It would be greatly appreciated, and the number of extended range guitar players is growing. Thanks!

I've used the website for years, finally got the app and it's perfect. Super intuitive and very visually pleasing. It's awesome to just be able to tap out the notes into the chord analyzer on my phone now instead of messing with the mouse.

Great app. As a beginner it's nice to be able to look up chords quickly. My only wish is it had a feature in the analyzer / finder to capo easier than each string individually. This would make transposing chords easier.

Multiple Purchases required. Beware you pay for the app per device. Not mentioned anywhere. At least when I bought it. I guess if you purchase a new phone or tablet they'll require you to purchase it again. Good app but that would have stopped me from purchasing it.

Doesn't have the part I bought the app for. I'm looking for an app that shows chords in different tunings, for example Drop D, Double drop D etc. This can be set in the chord analyser but that doesn't help. To see a diagram of the chord I want in a different tuning is not available, but when you read the ad before purchasing, it looks like it has this function. Disappointing, no apps seem to be able to offer chord diagrams in alternative tunings.

This is absolutely the best chord reference tool. The ability to plug in notes on the fretboard and know what the chord name is is worth the price of the app alone and there's so much more. Kudos to the dev for making such a genuinely useful app!

Best Self Guided Guitar Theory, Ever! How fun to play around on the fretboard experimenting making up chords then having the ability to map it out to find what you created or, how to play a chord in 5 positions on the fly. I leave this tab open all the time on my desktop.

I used to use the web-based version of this app until I learned it had a play store version. I rarely purchase anything on the play store, but this has been so useful to me and can't recommend it any higher! It's incredibly straight forward, the FAQ is informative, and the lack of ads makes me so happy.

I have used the Oolimo website for years and found it very helpful for song writing chord tracking and for understanding music theory. This appears to be a reasonably faithful rendition of the same thing with the added benefits of being offline and in my pocket.

As a guitar player of 30+ years there's always something new to learn and improve. This is the app that helps me to understand chord progressions and theory even better and on another level. I've tried most of the apps with guitar chords here on the Play Store but this is the one that's the most complete. Be patient when learning how to use this app and use Help section, it will pay off. Big thanks to developer and creator of Oolimo Guitar Chords.

Love this app. One of the few I've paid for and well worth many times what it cost. I use it every day. I had some issues and the response from the creator was immediate. (The issue was with my phone - not the app) I originally wrote a negative review after it stopped working because I was heartbroken I could no longer use it! All is well, now.

If I had to say something negative about the app, I would say to add more instruments, mandolins, banjos, etc, and to add a listen for chord function with mic access. Excellent app, great for increasing your abilities as a musician!

Outstanding app, it really has everything you need for analysing guitar chords - beautifully designed UI too. Note to Dev: there are a few translation issues in the English version of the quiz. I'm a professional writer/editor and would be happy to proofread and correct your English script free of charge.

Good app, lightweight and very useful. Would be great if you could add a 5th section like on your website (which should advertise the app FYI!) For the basics and theory so that people like me with a swiss cheese knowledge of music can brush up when chord structures (especially extensions) gets confusing. Good job overall though!

Amazing app, have nothing negative to say. Have you ever thought of adding a feature where you can create and save chord progressions, I'm aware of the ability to save chords I'm more so thinking progressions as a whole. I often use Oolimo to create different chords/inversions and I would love to be able to create unique progressions on the go.

After over a decade playing guitar, I wanted to get better. I tried the big platforms that are being shared in the ads. Then I stumbled upon Oolimo when I was messing around and wanted to figure out what chord I'd just played. I was then on a deep dive in theory - in a very accessible way. I was amazed at it being free for all. I then purchased the app, mainly as a thank you. I've learned more in such a short timeframe compared to the months of using £30 per month platforms.

Best couple of bucks I've ever spent on an app. I bought it mainly to identify and find chords but I ended up having a lot of fun with the quizzes, which surprised me. I wish there were more or perhaps have them randomly generated somehow. One nice addition would be some tools to help learn notes on the fretboard. As it stands is a very slick and usable app and we'll with the low asking price.

I love this app, its great for finding your way around the fretboard and all its hidden chords. I'd love if you could implement the changing of your tuning in the chord finder too, as it would really help to learn other tunings. For example playing around with drop d it can be a bit confusing working out the change in your bass note (2 semitones down) without a clear picture.

This app should be a tool for any musician. I'm studying chord theory and am a new music writer. This app is worth every penny. The only two additions I hope for in the future for this app is a more direct way of seeing the inversions of each type of chord and a feature where you're able to punch in a chord progression...for the writer side of things . Besides that this app seriously delivers invaluable immediate information on chords, its all there. There's a site you can try this out for free.

Awesome app for learning theory and writing chord progressions with efficient finger placement, but there are unfortunately no 7, 8, 9, or 10 string options. Other than that, it's worth it. if the developers are reading this, please at least add up to 8 string guitar support, please. I'd personally be willing to pay for that as this app is very helpful to me.
