Pathetic money fishing gimmick. an Ad with every click is kinda way too much. Used to be a go to site for latest news but now all we watch is bloody Advertisements through and through. Y'all can douch better than this scam I'm deleting this App since nothing has changed since my last review. It's still Ad after Ad with every click. Can't be watching Ads instead of reading NEWS. Bye 👋🏾

The more I use it, the worse recommendations get. Choose hide or ignore news sources will only get more from them. 3 days of usage results in 80% from garbage sources.

Opera News is a most trustworthy site for bringing both local and national happenings. Its reporting seems to be factual and non biased. I have come to rely on its authenticity.

Allows any kind of content even blatant lies, unverified news and inreliable storage for instance if post a comment and someone likes or replies, I get notification but I never get to see it. Phoenix is more reliable.

app very stabe and smood, reliable,no ads. When you scroll the news upwards then the bottom bar should be hidden. By doing this it will feel very smooth and stable. Fix this problem.

I would pay for a subscription if that got rid of the ads. just too damn many. an ad for ever article that you read. ridiculous.

It has been a very good app until recent ,it's becoming useless, very annoying with your useless ads, forcing ads down my throat, can't read for 30 seconds without ads popping up, so useless app

Ads are intrusive, you can't skip, you can't mute the God dannn sound and they are loud af. I'll block the ads if this continues and that's not gonna be good for the revenue.

Bigo live adverts keep popping up everth I try to switch between news feeds. It takes at least one minute and several clicks to exit the advert. I will uninstall Opera News Breaking if this nuisance continues.

The video clips do not play in the app. Without the videos, the app is a lot less useful. The ads are very intrusive and there does not seem to be a way to turn off the ads with a fee or setting. I'm sick of all the ads which also seem to be now playing in other apps as well. I am deleting this app.

I don't mind that I am seeing ads. What is driving me nuts are the game ads that I have to sit here and watch download for way too long. My time is valuable. If I wanted to play games, I wouldn't be trying to catch up on the news. If these time consuming wasteful ads can't be eliminated, I will not be subscribing to your site any longer. A click off ad, no problem, fix it or lose me again.

This is my THIRD review after my 2019 & 2023 Reviews. NOW IT'S THE BEST AFTER THOSE YEARS. I WILL SOON ELABORATE. THANKS VERY MUCH. Thank you very much for your reactions to my brief comments. Indeed there tremendous improvements including updates and report coverage. Thanks for the outstanding improvements on the Opera news application.

Useless app, their is no option to unblock things, for example I went to block a news provider due to there pay to reject cookies policy (which sadly seems to be the majority of news sources on the app) and accidentally hit block news from my local area by mistake, if you are going to allow us to block news sources or even locations, you should give us an option to see what we've blocked with an unblock option for when mistakes happen, using a different news app now as fed up with this app

When we are replying to comments and tap the screen, probably to correct an error in the replies we are typing, the entire reply we are typing will vanish. It doesn't happen when we are commenting directly on a post. This has lingered so long for Opera News not to notice it. I have written many feedbacks to that effect with no improvement. One star review may be the better option.

Ads are so bad, let me start by saying I love opera, use the browser on PC for years. Saw this app yesterday, installed and love the look. However, everything you click on, gives you a partial read of the article, AS SOON as you click to see the remainder, an ad comes on. I have to say, this is so infuriating that I lasted only 1 day of use. Going back to Google news.

the ability to access multiple news outlets is excellent, but the app is let down by the number and type of adverts, which, based on my experience, are hard to get rid of and hang around. Their advertising policy, which shares your data with 144 vendors, means you can expect plenty of annoying and intrusive ads but with no option to switch to a premium plan to remove them.

Decent. Good content and better than Googles version especially since they are moving aggressively into AI generated news stories. However, the ads in this app are very annoying especially since it's audible. I would prefer a pay version (though definitely not subscription based). It's unlikely that I will stick with this in its current form.

I was looking for something better than Google news and thought I found it. Sadly, I did not. I really liked where this was going with the layout and trending news items etc, but the ads were SO overwhelming it undermines most positives about the app. I've only had the app for less than 10 minutes and 5 tiktok ads have popped up forcing me to wait to exit. Who is giving all these great reviews?? So people like intrusive gaming and TT ads? Baffling and questionable. Nope! it's a no from me!

This app is great for news, like the layout and news/information it provides, so why one star? Simple, the notifications!! So annoying, doesn't matter what setting I have the notifications set to, I get bombarded with news notifications. Just way too many. I've set it to standard, to low and I've even turn off notifications in the app and still get them!! Please sort it
