So here's my take on Operation. I've tested a bunch of mobile games in this category and this one's a pretty solid option. The classic Hasbro gameplay translates really well to the touchscreen, and I love how they added those little story bits to make it more than just a simple tweezer game. The graphics and controls are polished too. And

On the downside, the progression does get a bit grindy at higher levels as you need to wait forever for upgrades. And like I mentioned, the ads can be intrusive if you don't pay. But overall it's a fun, challenging game that's perfect for quick sessions. Definitely recommended if you're a fan of the original board game.

Description

Been playing Operation for a couple months now. It’s basically a mobile version of the classic Hasbro board game where you use virtual tweezers to try and remove items from Cavity Sam without touching the sides. Sounds simple, but it’s actually pretty fun and challenging.

There’s a bunch of different operations you can do – like removing Sam’s funny bone or taking out his wacky appendix. And you gotta have a steady hand ’cause if you hit the sides, you’ll hear that classic buzzer. And the game’s got a bunch of mini-stories and characters to keep things interesting.

Look, if you’re into strategy/puzzle games, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the ads can get annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does a solid job of bringing the board game to life on your phone. Worth checking out if you’re looking for a fun, nostalgic gaming experience.
