Reviews for Orbitrack

Basically just eye candy for looking at satellites. For example, doesn't show a list of passes. Requires you to purchase on a per-device basis. Boo!

The App looks fantastic but: -on my Nexus 4 crash in the search tab (so I'm testing it on a Samsung Tab A 10.1) -the show event/set a reminder is a little bit hidden (maybe a dedicated tab will be more intuitive?) -I can't find a AR view, there is an option in the settings but the tilt doesn't works, maybe is my tablet.

Useful viewing options, but cannot select and show specific constellations of satellites. UPD for anyone interested: found how to do this under the "Settings" menu, which is only available in landscape orientation.

A very good app but keeps losing GPS signal. No other apps on my phone have this issue.... Keeps sleeping too. The app is capable of staying awake but a long search has not worked out how.... If I could change these it would be a 5star app.

Was very good, but the most recent update causes the app to crash right after the splash screen. This is on a fully updated pixel 4a (5G) running android 12. I have emailed the developer and never heard back. update 7/29/25 app is working again on pixel 4a 5G

Most accurate app I've used to track satellites, you still get the occasional moving light that doesn't show up, but much less often than any other app. Worth the 5 bucks. Would love it if there was a way to de-select satellites kind of annoying that you can't

Love the app but I wish there was a way to turn off the music and sound effect when zooming in and out. Also there needs to be a settings tab to turn off music and adjust other things. Will give 5 stars if these things are incorporated into the app. I'm operating the app on a Samsung Galaxy S10 and works great but needs the above added. Thanks

We've sat outside many a night during this isolation lockdown with a glass of wine and this app. We never realised just how many satellites up up there until we looked at this app. Looks great and easy to use. Great for watching the Starlink satellite trains.

After more than a year since my original review, and an update in phones, the app appears to run well on my Samsung Galaxy Note20 Ultra, but continues to glitch on my Samsung Galaxy Tab S3, saying it cannot find my location (despite showing it correctly on the globe view).

Excellent app in both ease of use and accuracy. The only thing I would add is that once you get info on a satellite and try to return it should bring you back to where you made the enquiry and at the same altitude. Great app overall.

Annoying Wii-game-like music is turned up very loudly, which you can turn off, if you you are intuitive enough to find the hidden settings. Update: there's no reason to assume the tool bar slides left and right.... I will keep coming back to make sure my review doesn't get erased again.

I wanted to set an alarm for the skylink star train but found it difficult to do so as one has to choose just one sattelite from the search. Not so bad but am I alerted to the beginning middle or end and is it the one next visible to me at night? I know not. Overall a good app as it achieves much of what one wants it to do.

Has been accurate, lots of satellites with relevant info, and a relatively straightforward ui. Does chew battery but my phone isn't so new. Would appreciate some more filtering/search options for repeat tasks. Favouriting satellites or adding passes to a list would be handy for planning tracking activities.

Great for tracking and learning about various satellites, including pretty recent ones such as the Starlink constellation. Go through the tutorial at first to learn how to use the menu at the bottom. I jumped right in initially and had to learn the functionality the hard way!

Fantastic satellite tracker! This is a beautiful app that lets you track satellites. If you're like me and you love to watch them crawl across the night sky, do yourself a favor and download this app! You can use the phone's gyro to align yourself to rising sats so you know where to look. Also really cool is the Orbit view where you can see the satellite floating in space above Earth. Love it!

PLEASE HELP!!! I would easily give this app 5 stars but %90 of the time when I attempt to sync with my phones camera S 23 ultra.. the app shuts down and and a error code states that the app has a "bug". It's super annoying when I've set up all my equipment to find that I cannot even sync my camera.. Please help!!!

It's cool, but missing some basic features: can't deselect a satellite, can't automatically center your location on the map, can't change the time, can't set it to be miles or kilometers only, once you select a satellite to see what it will look like during a certain event you can't go back to live time without doing a factory reset of all the settings.

Having previously purchased Satellite Safari which I was really very pleased and was disappointed when it was discontinued. I found it was replaced by Orbitrack and not available for a time on android, when I did find it released for android the price shocked me Well I thought if as described it would be worth the purchase price. Know what ? The information and graphics plus all the new features I honestly think it is well worth the purchase price and more. I honestly give it 5 * + . Thank you

Keeps defaulting to somewhere in China/Russia after returning from looking at "info" of any satellite. Happens whether I press the "X" to close out the info tab or the back arrow to go back. Rather annoying, it should return to the last location I was looking at or at least my saved location. Please fix

Best satellite tracker on the Play store, with the largest catalog and visual orbital representation! However there seems to be a bug for the app not being able to use location, although given permission... And it would be nice to have the possibility to set the location where we want, and display all the satellites by categories and subcategories (ex: display only communication satellites that are geostationary), because all those green dots can get confusing
