So here's my honest take on the Orlando Sentinel app. I've tested a bunch of local news apps and this one's definitely one of the better ones. The customizable news feed is super handy and I like that you can save articles to read later. The production value is pretty high too, with nice videos and photo galleries.

But it's not without its issues. The ads can get a little intrusive, and I found the app would occasionally crash or freeze up on me. And after using it for a while, the content does start to feel a bit repetitive. Still, for keeping up with what's happening in the Orlando area, it's a pretty solid option. I'd recommend giving it a download if you're in that market.

Description

Been using the Orlando Sentinel app for a couple months now. It’s basically a news app that covers everything happening in the Orlando area – from politics and sports to the latest restaurant openings and nightlife. Pretty solid app if you’re into keeping up with your local news and events.

There’s a bunch of cool features – you can customize your news feed to only see the topics that interest you, save articles to read later, and even get notifications for breaking news. And it’s got a good mix of text articles, videos, and photo galleries too. Took me a while to figure out how to rearrange the sections, but once I got that sorted, it’s been easy to use.

Look, if you live in the Orlando area and want a convenient way to stay on top of what’s going on, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the ads can get a bit annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does a pretty good job of delivering the news. Worth checking out if you’re looking for a local news app.
