This app is terrible. this is totally inexcusable considering the cost of these devices! Issues: 1) It frequently loses connection with one device or the other during Bluetooth streaming. 2) Reconnecting via the app procedure rarely works (Tip: just turn off Bluetooth completely and then turn it back on. It will usually connect). 3) It will lose Bluetooth connectivity during a call, cutting in and out repeatedly. At first, I thought it was a bad cell connection. Shame on you, OtiCON.

Works great...about every other day. On the off days I have to reboot/reset/close-open, the hearing aids and the app multiple times a day. While using the app on phone calls the connection is random and erratic... left goes out, then comes back on and then the right goes out, then both. Bottomline, the Bluetooth connection is not stable and not consistent and works about half the time while using the app.

I replaced the old Oticon app with this one, expecting good things, however, all I got was more frequent disconnections. Sometimes I would have to restart my phone (android) because I couldn't get my hearing aids connected. I finally went back to the old version and it seems a lot more stable. Also, since I don't carry my phone with me 24/7, they now connect much easier.

When it does pair with my phone, and when I say when because it doesn't do it on a consistent basis, the sound only comes out of my right hearing aid. I've done everything humanly possible, i.e., delete and reinstall the app, made sure all upgrades were up-to-date, etc., but nothing seems to fix the issue. Wrote an email to support over a week ago but never received any response. Extremely disappointed!!!

This is the worst app ever. These hearing aids are not cheap, While the functions in the app are great, and I can change vol setting. It's also cool that I am able to connect to Bluetooth devices. HOWEVER The app seldom keeps connected to hearing aids, or one hearing aid turns off, and then I have to waste time trying to connect and turn back on. I am glad I purchased a travel charger. However, to turn the erroneous hearing aid back on.

Update, Just installed the new app and it doesn't even connect to my hearing aids. Also the app doesn't stop running only way to stop. Oly way to stop it is to restart my phone. I don't have time for this. Does Not Connect. The first couple of weeks it seemed okay but shortly after it's hit or miss when it will connect. Even after reinstalling it twice still no luck. Heard from Oticon with instructions on what to do but it's the same info from four months ago that does not work.

My hearing aids keep disconnecting during the day. When I first got my new aids they would connect every morning when I turned my phone on and stay connected all day. A couple of weeks ago I noticed that they started disconnecting for no reason. At first it was maybe a couple of times a day. Now it's like right after I reboot they disconnect. I brought these new hearing aids cause I really liked the feature of Bluetooth for phone calls. Now it's useless to me and I spend $6000 for this feature.

Oticon Real HAs. Frequently drops connection and then takes multiple attempts to reconnect. If the app loses connection with one or both hearing aids, it will not automatically reconnect. If it does connect, the app does control the hearing aids. Does NOT allow a direct connection to other Bluetooth devices so has limited benefits if you want to listen to another device. Can't adjust volume independently while streaming music. I don't have an hour or more every day to try and get it to work.

I received HAs from VA in January and the Companion app worked great. A week ago I started having problems with the app connecting. Sometimes it would connect with just the right and sometimes with just the left. Never both. I believe there was an update of sorts to Companion, and it does not work. Is there any way I can download the previous version, 1.2.2? If not then I will not be using Companion as it has no worth to me whatsoever. It does not rate even one star.

Disconnect frequently. It was marketed to me as hearing aids that connect to my phone. No. After I got them, they wouldn't stay connected. The sound goes in and out of each ear when streaming or receiving phone sounds. Makes me feel like I'm going crazy. And it's all this app and how it lacks the ability to stay connected. Update: I emailed them and got the same response I got the first 3 times. How to re-pair the hearing aids to my phone. Customer service is garbage
