Comic book design. Functionally it is a mess like the website. Keyboard is set so you can't enter a line return so your messages are just one big run on paragraph. The entire interface is clunky and a mish mash of ideas. Better off using a mobile browser session if you have to use the site. Tried to post some photos I had taken, denied because they were too professional??? - since I am a landscape photographer I'll take that hit. That is the level of design this operates at.

Scam..beware...when I signed up they charged me for the upgrade and I did not require that. Not worth the money. I had to call and have them remove it. One of the most difficult apps to edit. Photos of important on a site like this but whenever you want to change one it says it's going to replace it but it kicks the one that you want to replace all the way to the back. Also very limited. The entire app is just difficult to navigate. Too many windows open.

Why can't I access my account? I've had an account for over a year. I usually access it once a week or so. Now the app just hangs up. Tried logging in with a web browser. That just hangs. Used my windows computer. It just change. Will never let me in. I still get emails saying I've got unread messages. Tried to contact tech support. Apparently, tech support doesn't exist. I uninstalled the app from my Android phone. Then re-installed. Same thing. THE APP HAS TECHNICAL PROBLEMS. I CAN'T CONTACT

Not worth the cost, info collected for matching is limited, no filter for distance to search in, can't change my name, can't remove a picture only replace it, it seems very basic for the $34 I ended up paying. There are too many options to add services for fees when the rate is already high and service should be included in your membership also you can accidentally hit the link like I did charging me an additional $6.99 with no refunds. I have no plans of staying. I am very disappointed.

Poor App. Like others said, it locks up and makes me put email and password in everytime. Many fake profiles are easy to spot (exact same writing, but different photo). When I reported many of them, my profile was removed! Some ages are obviously fake and don't mach with the pictures. Haven't met anyone from here yet, but did get a few responses, so it can work. Just need to work out fake profiles. Phone or personal verification is not the answer. The fakes are very easy to spot.

After hesitating and debating about it... I subscribed for 3 months, and immediately went to cancel because YOU force people to do a re-occuring payment,(which is just greedy). Suddenly my password doesn't work , so I have to get an email from you so I can reset my password. But what a surprise the email never comes. I tried 3 times, and 16 hours later, still no email. I get plenty of other emails. I even got the email from customer service about not getting an email for my password.

Disappointed! Signed up 4 days ago. Was able to sign in when I signed up. Minutes later I could not sign in. Changed my password numerous times with the response "account updated". Still didn't work. I sent the report 3 days ago via email. Got a response yesterday that someone would contact me via email. I have received nothing. If I can't get into my profile I would like a link to delete my account! If I get a response today I will change my rating if possible.Stop sending matches can't access!

If you have an issue with Ourtime they will send instructions on how to change your password. It doesn't matter if that's not the issue. I asked for an actual person from the company to call me. The company responded without having anyone call me. I suspect an AI is responding. Whenever I message someone with the app a warning pops up with an ominous message "Are you sure you want to do that!!!"

I signed up, uploaded 1 picture of my face, spent 5 minutes looking, and then was logged off. When I tried to log back in I got an error message saying my account was blocked by OurTime. When I contacted them they said I was banned for inappropriate content! I didn't even have the account for 30 minutes I didn't interact with anybody or post any messages. they refused to tell me the specific reason. I don't think anyone is actually reading the customer service emails. WASTE OF TIME!

The instructions to unsubscribe are wrong, probably on purpose. They say go to Settings, hover over the drop down menu top right corner. All good until then. After that the instructions are incorrect. Maybe on a pc you get correct instructions. Also, after going through the hassle of signing up, you can't see any messages until you pay. Very misleading.

3/16/22 Update-the app has not worked well since my last review on 2/22. I have not been able to login, it says "Invalid e-mail or password" two days in a row. After 2 or 3 profiles, freezes. Yesterday I uninstalled and reinstalled the app to see if that would fix the login issue, which it did. However, now it seems to freeze and I am unable to send messages or pass, etc. on my matches. Why am I paying for something that hasn't worked very well in over 2 weeks? How about a credit on my account?

The app is horrible, I can only use it thru my email. It ONLY allows one to the other, email or app. - way too many people spamming on the site, watch out - Even if you only want people from your area, the requests come from everywhere. Even if your parameters are set as a "dealbreaker". Once a requests come in, the site starts sending possible matches from everywhere. - there are many flaws, I will not be continuing the service.

Not the best dating app. out there, but has some nice features. Search parameters are sketchy and hard to maintain. You have to pay to get additional responses or boost your profile. Photo editing is not easy and you can't tell if an account is still active or not. Took over a month for me to get a response to all the messages I sent out. They guarantee responses from anyone for a fee, but you can't tell of its from a member or the app. itself. Just be wary of phonies. Do your homework !!

Tried to sign up. It does not accept the phone number and keeps saying 'unknown error'. I only have ONE phone number. Not sure why there's an error in that. Needless to say, i was unable to sign up and thus will not be using the app. Out of all the dating apps available, are you really in the market in competion when one cannot even sign up? Do better!

The site can be very frustrating. I should have read all the reviews before joining. Many days, I am locked out of the site. It states, "Try again later," when I try to log back in the app. During chats, it notifies me of a new message, but it doesn't come through until much later. At that point, the context of the chat is lost, frustrating both parties. Ourtime, you need to fix all the technical glitches or you won't have any customers soon, including me.

The Ourtime app has changed the way you can look at the pictures of a potential match. Now, you can only swipe left to remove or swipe right to like. You can't get a good view of the person because you can't magnify the picture. The app should also have the capability of bookmarking a profile, rather than only being able to liking it, so you can refer back to a profile that you might be interested in later.

pathetic excuse for a dating app and the company running it as well. I got banned for doing pretty much nothing. I pretty much created an account and swiped for a few minutes before I closed the app. When I went back, I all of a sudden didn't have access to my account. Had the account for MAYBE a couple of hours. I tried to appeal to see what I supposedly did wrong. All they said was, "I violated the terms and conditions," didn't state a specific reason, just that. very vague.

The fonts within the app are too small and too light to read without the magnifier in my phone. Are there any plans in development to add the option to enlarge the fonts in the app? I also wish it had the option to add our own interests and not have to choose from the pre-selected ones in the app, as many of mine are not listed. The algorithms are still sending links to people that are quite far away when my dealbreaker choice is set to 25 miles.

Second what others have said...they don't follow your preference; not even when marked deal breakers. They send tons of likes from all out of your area making you think that there are lots of people near you; then when you pay, you discover there are very few profiles nearby. I regret putting out the money for either app. And they seem to be buying up more of them! Be aware.

Complete scam!!! Expensive and too many fake profiles. First, you pay for a subscription and get 150 credits. And then, you get disgusted with the many fake profiles. Then, if you do find someone legit, within a couple of hours of using the app, you're out of "credits". To reply to a chat, you have to buy more credits. I bought the cheapest pack -- 20 credits for $30. After a FEW chat response, you have to buy more credits. 500 credits is $360. Also, no way to hide you're on so people call.
