Reviews for Pain Tracker & Diary
← Back to Pain Tracker & DiaryGood for tracking pain but disappointed there's no option to change the model to a woman. It's irritating to open the app to record my pain and be met with a figure that lacks the appropriate body parts. I'm surprised by this oversight, especially because the app was made by a doctor. Over all, not bad if you need to keep visual reminders for reference. The addition of sideviews would be helpful. The UI could also use some refining; my older parents would probably have trouble using this app.
Awesome 😎👍 Edit: no, thank *you* for this brilliant yet simple and incredibly effective tool. Idea: allow the pdf export to be saved locally (instead of only sharing options) and enable a page-range selector (FYI that report can get looooong.) ☺️ Edit: refine date range to only pages to export 👍
As someone who has been suffering from Chronic pain for over a decade, I find this app to be extremely useful for documenting my pain (including the type, location, and intensity) so I can share it with the doctors at the pain clinic. my only suggestion to improve the app would be to replace the front and back of the body with a 3D body that could be rotated.
The app has been very useful in help track how my chronic pain changes on a daily basis. The fact all my info is stored on my phone and not in the cloud is great. My private issues are just that, private. Well done. The app does have a small learning curve but nothing that cannot be overcame.
UPDATE: I've had to change my review due to the changes in the privacy policy. This app no longer protects your privacy as it should, don't know why. I'm soft locked because I don't agree with the policy. It used to be a private useful app. I did recommend it for people with chronic pain. It helped me keep track of my pain cycle and pinpoint the areas that are problematic or that are improving. I do wish I could add more to it though, a more robust diary would be nice or a space for medication.
Very easy to use and just what I was looking for. Two suggestions that would be really helpful to see quantified would be... A way to track hours of nighttime sleep A way to track activity, I.e. how many bed days, levels of activity etc. Both would be helpful to see on a chart Otherwise a great app, very helpful to understand how I can improve my condition 👍
I've only just installed this, but it looks like to be exactly what I wanted - no ads - lightweight - track pain of different types - draw pain onto the body, rather than specifying body parts - export features Would give it 5 stars if it had built in reminders (e.g. for keeping a pain diary) Well worth the price, thank you.
Amazing app. Useful for recording areas of pain, type and intensity. I use app on a regular basis to record pain so I can remember frequency and locations which I then show rather than tell my doctor's where the issues are. Been using a few years now and Highly recommend for tracking long term pain and illness.
This has changed my life. No more keeping a messy notebook and trying to describe my pain everyday in an effort to just make doctors understand so they'll help me (which has been failing for the past 3 years since this started). No more having to remember the exact time of the pain when I get home (this keeps track of the time I log the pain, and my phone is always with me). Seeing the pain visually is so much more effective, and having a chart to show a summary is just the icing on the cake.
It's pretty good in that it lets you draw specifically where the pain is. I would like it if they would also incorporate things like medications taken and therapies used during the day as well. Even incorporate activities like walking/pt/ot etc. This would be very handy to have all in one spot instead of me using 3 different apps to have all the information handy for my doctors.
Awesome App Best tool for tracking pain I absolutely love this App. I've used other pain tracker apps but none compares to this one. The detailed information is very helpful to your physician. Medication adjustments can be tailored to your specific need. No other app has been so beneficial to my needs. It is easy to print and or send your report to your doctor. It is easy to use and beautiful graphics. It is a must have app for pain patients.
The app was easy to install and very intuitive to use. I like how this app allows me to track and locate each type of pain individually as well as collectively showing all pain types and body locations. It tracks intensity and the percentage of body surface affected. This too will help my doctor track my treatment progress. Thank you!
This is a great app for managing pain but I have some suggestions for improvement. First of all you should include a female body option as well as the male, it's weird that there isn't. Also I'd recommend and eraser tool in addition to the undo button. Finally I'd also suggest an option where you mirror the pain on the front of your body as on the back.
It is okay, but not great. I would like to scroll in for better control on drawing and maybe have patterns that are not so far apart or even have them solid colors. I would also like to drop a pit on the body map and make note with pins/dots or even notes for the colors. I also would like it if there was an option to input medications and when you took them. It works okay, but I just expected better features. Feels one step above elementary. Which isn't bad. Just not great.
Good features for drawing pain on diagram. Deducted star: Would like to see the title of a pain type next to the icons, rather than having to remember what each square represents. Would like to see a summary mode with both front/back entry side by side (with legend) and notes included at bottom. Right now to summarize properly requires 3 screenshots--front, back, and notes. Edit: excellent update. Added the above feature. Very good. Bit buried, so may be something you want to make more obvious.
This app has been very helpful tracking symptoms after an accident, because while I can generally remember what has hurt most consistently, I certainly don't remember every detail unless I make a record of it. And when I had a problem with the app, the administrator communicated quickly & often until we figured out what I was doing wrong. I definitely recommend this app.
I bought this app thinking it would help me track my chronic pain but having to restart my drawings all the time because they don't save makes me waste a lot of time. App would have potential. I like that you can draw on the front and back of the body. But having to spend so much time on the app redoing what I had already done just doesn't do it for me.
would be great if the privacy policy wasn't so extremely invasive, requiring so much of our personal information that isn't necessary in any way for this app. idk what anyone is supposed to do, when every app is like this now. health stuff is so deeply personal. this takes advantage of those of us suffering with no other good options. i don't remember this app having such an invasive policy before.... it won't stop crashing anyway. the drawing of the body isn't all that helpful either
This a good app with a lot of potential. However, when exporting a PDF I can only export 4 days at a time, otherwise, the images showing pain locations dont export. Without the images it is worthless. It also could use images of the side of the body. There is no way to indicate pain there without making a note.
