A great app helped me pick all the right colors for the walls in my house

Doesn't give the option to paint ceilings. More as a residential tool not commercial.

I couldn't even get the color I wanted to paint or wanted was dark blue and it couldn't do it

Honest review. Very good not free but gives about 8 free visual remodels but does the job and easy to use

terrible app...not very user friendly and it doesn't paint at all...don't download complete waste of time

the app frequently locks when uploading a photo

Total garbage. 3 days free but give them credit details and other info first. Then you have to cancel the subscription etc. waste of time.

This app is priceless for terribly indecisive people like me. Worth every penny. $40 for the entire year, and now I'm actually motivated to finish painting the entire house so I don't have to re-subscribe next year.

works. take a while to learn the tools buy good.

I wanted to see what the paint would look like on our brick house. No matter what I did it looked goofy and very unrealistic. Maybe for flat interior walls it would be better.

Terrible quality. Front door with sidelights was just washed over with a transparent box of color outlined by a solid color. No AI sensitivity at all.

Fantastic app. Easy to use, has a search function if you have paint cards to look up, and is quick at generating the color based on a picture you take. 10/10. I will definitely grab a subscription and do my whole house.

Paint AI: Color Visualizer is a game-changer! 🎨 Whether you're redecorating your home or just curious about how different colors would look in your space, this app makes it incredibly easy and fun. The AI feature lets you instantly visualize how any paint color would look on your walls—it's almost magical! The app is super user-friendly, with a smooth interface that allows you to upload photos and try out a wide variety of color palettes.

The app kept painting every surface the same color, and I couldn’t figure out how to apply different colors to specific areas like wood beams, rendered walls, or trims. While I’m sure there’s a way to customise it, the UI wasn’t intuitive enough to guide me through the process. I expected to simply select a section, like the beams, and have the app map it out automatically.

Impressive use of AI, would save a regular painter decorator a lot of time and impress clients with ideas for little money. Only thing to improve would be to speed up paint colour tweaks. Fair enough the first time you choose a colour it's about 20s to generate, but you would think it could then adjust hue and lightness of the generated layer in almost real time rather than having to set another colour and wait another 20s. Would be much quicker to zero in on just the right shade.

don't recommend paint my house is easier to use and faster in my opinion. Something's are better off without AI ok a lot!

design is scrappy, basic and very elementary

I dont know how in the hxxx I ended up with it. I don't plan on painting anything. I saw the icon and checked in subscriptions, and it had taken $39. I have used it a couple of times since I paid so much. It would be good for someone repainting, looking for new color pallets.

You have to wonder about an app with no 2,3,or4 stars. Only has 7 "generations" of colors on your picture(s) for free. Almost enough to learn how to use the program. :-/ I don't think it is suitable for a phone, not enough pixels. Needs a mouse to outline areas to be painted. Not for trim matching. Requires registration by Google or Apple. Can grab your email and picture. Does seem to have a broad commercial color palette.

app is pretty cool. you can look up actual paint colors from paint brands or come up w/ your own colors from the built in color pallets or mixer. The AI seemed to work well at distinguishing between cabinets, counter top and appliances. Could use some blending upgrades (let me choose how dark or light i want the color to be) and would be even better if there was capability to sample an existing user color (take a pic and upload a color I want to match). That said, app is still pretty useful.
