too many ads and can't pick colours other than five default ones without paying. apps seems to work well if you wanna pay though
Reviews for Paint my Room - Try wall color
← Back to Paint my Room - Try wall colorFull of annoying adds. Adds do not close easily and link to browser which leave an APK to force download. Probably a Virus or Trojan. Be careful.
Paid for the full, unlocked app. now I open the app and everything is locked and they want more money. Don't bother, they will just stitch you up in a year's time.
very misleading app.. i dont see a fearure for hex code and i ended up paying for premium ..
it is probably a good app, but with so many ads on the free version, I couldn't easily play to see what it does and if I can't try it why should I pay $46 to buy it.
basic 4 colors, paywall for all the others. Full of ads.
It's not a bad app, but it's features are poorly explained and the editing tools are quite fiddly to use. For example, I can find no explanation regarding the RBG digital colors you use to paint a wall. It's not until you save the project that it gives you a HEX code (though it says RGB) which you can then convert to CYMK code for the physical color, which you need to buy your paint. This app needs polishing a lot, but with some work it might eventually be worth 5 stars.
loved it. if only I could choose my own colors instead of the terrible default colors then it would be great
Cool app to visualize color schemes of your space. Wish the app had family sharing active for Google Play accounts would be a feature I would add.
Very limited colours and functionality on free version. Full of ads, immediately deleted.
I can not even open the app. I just installed it, and when clicking on it to open, nothing happens, even after 5 minutes. app is now deleted.
Nice visualization tool. It helps with the decision process with ease. I took pics at different times of day to see the lighting changes which helped to determine the best option for my space.
if you can't afford the premium , then I bet you can't use this app for more then 1 min. every 1 min there is more then 1min duration ads.. and the photos you get here you can also get it on Google so ignore the app
Do not install this horrendous app. I don't get why it's rated 4.5 stars. The sensitivity bar ("expand area" as they call it) just disappears after choosing a color and you can't intuitively bring it back. Annoying, full-screen, long-lasting ads that they make difficult to skip. They also put a full-screen message to lure to pay 4€/mo. or 8€ to get rid of the ads and be able to use more than the 6 default colors they give you. Ridiculous and scummy business practice.
It's a nice app, but the only problem I'm having is that once you find a perfect color for your walls it doesn't tell you what color it is ( meaning) there's all kinds of different shades of each color then how do you go and buy that exact shade that you picked? And there's no way to save what it looked like on your walls.. So that's why only a 3 rating. This could be a great app if it had more information for the consumer.. 😊
I downloaded this just to play around with the paint colors I had in mind but ending up buying it. It's is 10 times better than Sherman Williams app. The white paint is good enough to give me the visual I was looking for and that is what made me buy it. It isn't blinding white with the greatest coverage but way better than other apps I tried. If you're looking for the perfect match software, you'll pay dearly for it. If your looking for a good visual reference, this is it.
I really really love it. Works great when the walls you are painting are already a solid light color. But I don't understand why it's showing translucent when you're trying to paint over anything with a pattern like wallpaper. Also, trying to paint the same color over two different walls that are different colors, they come out different. Why can't the paint be done opaque or give me an option whether or not I want opaque or some sort of translucency?
I shouldn't have purchased it. Works great to change wall colors on a photo. I thought the paid version would have tons more colors to choose from but no. It's a rainbow slider bar you can fine tune. If you want rainbow bright walls, great. It's completely useless for neutrals which is what 90% of people would want. Tans, grays, subtle colors? No.
Update: I already paid for no adds now you won't me to do it again...? no promo code for those of us that already subscribe? very well then... I'm forced to see what else is out there and if you are the best I'll return. was not happy with the color selection so I had to pay $3.49 US to open that up. It's only a one time fee and well worth it! LOVE how easy it is to use. Can really help if you are unsure or indecisive on a color type.
I tried several similar apps, but I found this one to be excellent in terms of both price and features. While the free option offers only 6 colors, the premium (lifetime) version includes a color slider (hue slider) that allows you to select a pure color from the full color spectrum wheel and then fine-tune it to achieve a vast range of colors. If you bought the premium version (now called lifetime), don't forget to go to 'restore purchased version' in the More menu to regain access.
