The app is accurate and works well. Would be nice to see a bill cycle view. So you can monitor the true usage from the start of billing and not just the beginning of the month.
if I could rate this company at zero I would. They're great at selling you the product but horrible when it comes to service after the fact. I submitted a ticket to remove the solar panels and reinstall them after the roof was replaced. That was October 2022. it's March 29 2023 and the panels are still on the roof. Ridiculous!
My system has gone done 5 times in 30 months. last time it took them 2 months to send a tech out. They want $350 for a tech to come out add that to the 2 months of not creating power and I'm losing money.
we've had production since August and know it's February. We haven't had on month where the system fully supported our electrical use. The fall it produced 80 to 90%. In the winter only 10%. At this point we are paying a full electrical bill plus the systems financing. Solar might payoff in the summer but in high cloud coverage it sucks balls. I don't think it will be worth the pain until it is fully paid off.
This company does NOT care about their customers. I had my Panels done I. December and had an issue with getting solar production credited to my bill. It is almost AUGUST and they have NOT fixed my issue! On top of that, false promises left and right. I was told every April I would get a check for yearly overage generated, NOT TRUE. I was told, when it comes time to work on the roof for maintenance , they would removed the panels for free, NOT TRUE. Find another Company! This is not the one.
It does not allow my to see my profile at all, dosent show any of my energy usage. Every time install the app i have 6 tabs in the menu. When i close down the app and re open it, all of sudden i have 4 tabs. And i lose the important tabs like energy usage!!!! This app is busted
I would give them a -5 if I could. The customer service is extremely poor and very frustrating. My system has been down since Sept 1, 22 and here it is end of November and they still are not doing ANYTHING to correct a system that is less than a year old. If I could go back to this time last year I would slam the door on their salesman.
this app works when it wants to. Currently, i can't see any information I've been trying to get my bill info for to weeks now.
Looks like server issues cause the app to not show production at times. Submitting a ticket is easy and response time is pretty quick. They finally fixed the outage after a few days from reporting the issue. Would be nice to be able to use the SolarEdge app instead of this since my inverter is SolarEdge. Also would be nice to be able to connect the inverter to my wifi or ethernet instead and use cellular as a fallback.
Oh where do I start? It was installed January 3rd, but it took until March before they had it up an running. It took them at least 3 weeks to get someone out here to figure out that the inverter was wired wrong. Now that it is up and running as of July 19th 2022 our lowest bill has been $150. Not horrible since our bill was around $500. We were told that the system that was design would be more than enough to give us credit in the prime months. Still not seeing that. Just not happy.
Works okay, but when my system goes does, it does not notify me at all. You would think if there was a critical alert, the app should notify you or send you an email. I lost an entire month of service. I shouldn't have to check this app everyday to make sure the equipment they sold me is working.
it is NEVER fully functional to what pur solar panels are actually doing.
Solar is a nightmare. This company, solar, and this app are absolutely worthless! They lied in the sales pitch, installed it incorrectly on roof, refused to fix it, the solar system goes down often, "customer service" is a clown show, and the app doesn't do anything to help. It is just here to make you feel good. Avoid the nightmare and stay away from solar. This is a 25yr MISTAKE.
has no way to add/change payment info. on line chat was no help. and their customer service is not USA based.
This app is so basic. It tells you nothing and that's when you can get successfully signed in. Don't bother.
had a problem my solar panels a month or so ago. it was not my fault that the panels on my roof were not wired correctly. I threatened palmetto that I was going to stop my bank account with palmetto. it was corrected immediately. I asked Palmetto for some credit and never got it. I am not very happy with that kind of service. panels are working fine now.
I've been getting chrged a late fee. I have direct payment and have not shorted any payments. They outsourced their billing dept and screwed up the billing and payments, when they made the move. I'm unable to view my statements online. although cust serv has been great with their billing outsource, they can't do much due to the limited info Palmetto has made avail to them. Run far away from dealing with this company. Too bad I got suckred in. This is just the beg of many issues, I just know it!
DO NOT use this company for your solar financing option!! Once they have a Permission to Operate, they want payments. Regardless of whether the project is working, the project has hit all milestones, and all of the paperwork is done. Not even a 30-day window to make sure everything is complete and in working order. When you call them, they point the finger at your installer. I'll be doing everything I can to make sure NO ONE does business with this company.
