Description
Been using PanTiltZoom for a couple months now. It’s basically a camera control app that lets you easily adjust things like exposure and color on your PTZ cameras. Pretty solid if you’re into video production and streaming.
There’s a bunch of cool features – you can control up to 8 cameras and save 16 preset positions per cam. And saves a ton of time instead of manually adjusting everything. And the variable speed controls are great, you can do fast, smooth camera movements.
Look, if you work with PTZ cameras a lot, you’ll probably get a lot of use out of this. It’s not perfect – the UI can be a little clunky at times – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you need a good camera control app.
Editor Opinion
So here's my take on PanTiltZoom. I've tried a bunch of camera control apps and this one's up there with the best. The customization options are great - being able to save and recall camera positions is a real time-saver. The touchscreen controls work pretty well too, feels natural to pan and tilt. Not gonna lie, it took me a while to figure out all the features, but once you get the hang of it, it's pretty easy to use. Only real downside is the UI could be a bit more polished, but it gets the job done.
