So here's my honest take on ParseGreek. I've tested a bunch of Greek learning apps and this one's probably the best I've found. The huge database of forms is super helpful, and the customizable quizzes let you focus on exactly what you need to practice. And the textbook integration is a nice touch too. On the downside, the ads can get old after a while, and the app lacks some of the advanced features you'd find in pricier apps. But for a free download, ParseGreek is a pretty solid choice for students of Koine Greek.

Description

Been using ParseGreek for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that quizzes you on parsing Greek verbs, nouns, adjectives, and pronouns. Pretty solid if you’re studying New Testament Greek.

Here’s what you do: there are over 9,500 forms from the Greek NT, and you can quiz yourself on them. And you can filter by stuff like frequency or what grammar book you’re using. There’s also a progress tracker to see how you’re improving. And the app is designed to work with the top Greek textbooks, which is really convenient.

Look, if you’re learning Koine Greek, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the ads can be a little annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does the job and makes practicing parsing a lot more fun and interactive. Worth checking out.
