So here's my honest take on Pathfinder 2e Battle Tracker. I've tested a bunch of RPG companion apps and this one's pretty solid. It's got all the features you'd expect - initiative tracking, HP management, conditions, etc. - and they work well. And the UI is a little dated but it's functional. Compared to doing everything manually, this app saves you a ton of time and headaches. The only real downside is it can be a bit overwhelming at first if you're not familiar with Pathfinder. But overall, it's a great tool for Pathfinder GMs and I'd recommend it.

Pros

  • Tons of strategic depth without being overwhelming
  • Graphics look great and run smooth on older phones
  • Free to play, don't need to spend money to enjoy it
  • Saves a ton of time compared to manual tracking
  • Comprehensive features for Pathfinder GMs

Cons

  • UI can be a little clunky and not super intuitive
  • Steep learning curve if you're new to Pathfinder
  • Ads can get annoying if you don't pay for the pro version

Description

Been using Pathfinder 2e Battle Tracker for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that helps you manage your Pathfinder tabletop RPG sessions – you can keep track of initiative, hit points, conditions, and more. Pretty solid app if you’re into that kind of thing.

Here’s what you do: there’s a list of characters and you can add them to the encounter. It’ll show you the turn order and you can tap to advance through the rounds. It’s got buttons to add or subtract damage, mark conditions, and all that. Took me a while to figure out some of the more advanced features but overall it does the job.

Look, if you’re a Pathfinder GM, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the UI can be a little clunky at times – but it’s way better than juggling a bunch of paper notes. Worth checking out if you want to streamline your sessions.

Could use some more toggle options and better monster stat block/ability integration, but overall it remains the best battle tracker I've used to date

App works really well! My only wish, which isn't a complaint mind you, is that it includes a toggle for Proficiency Without Level (or if it has one I might...

One of the best tools out there if you're looking to make combat easy in 2e
