For a paid subscription, the app should be useful. But it should be free. Whatever length of podcast you're listening to, you better listen to the entire thing in one sit. Or, screenshot where you pause it. Because it will not pick up where you left off. There's more operating things that are annoying as well. Again, if you're going to charge to use a service, maybe you should try using it as well. It should be free with how it operates

I've been using it for a while, but with the recent update, the app has been closing whenever I use the bulletpoint option when writing a new post. not to mention when writing and editing a post, the page will flick to the top of the post and occasionally glitch the writing format. please fix it. edit: putting this to one stars because they haven't fixed the glitching pages, and it's getting worse. Bolding a word now bolds the entire page, and the app slows my phone until the app crashes.

The platform is dated and clunky, especially on mobile—some features just don’t load or work properly. The desktop version isn’t much better; not all the tabs show up, which makes navigation frustrating. There’s no option for a simple tip jar, which seems like a basic feature to have. Free membership isn't advertised on the homepage. which makes it harder to connect with a real community. On top of that, I can’t message all my members.

If it weren't for wanting to support creators, I wouldn't use this poorly designed and buggy app. Maximizing a video window will 40% of the time just keep the video the same size and then put black for the other 85% of the screen. You can't turn off picture in picture (or the option is not in a logical place), it doesn't remember if you finished a video half the time. It's like they saw other apps with videos and were like "what if we do all that but make it annoying to use?"

I've been using Patreon since 2018 and somehow it has always had a garbage app. The lens clips never used to work, so they got rid of it. Now a days, you go to create a post and it randomly backs out and doesn't even save a draft. This has happened on two different phones and both have the most recent updates. Are they going to get rid of that next? Fix your stuff or stop taking everyone's money.

After getting fed up with how slow, clunky, and dysfunctional the website was, I downloaded the app, only to find that it's even more so on all three fronts. By far the worst app I've ever used. I'm both baffled and impressed. This would be one star if not for the download function, sparing me from having to painstakingly navigate the app in order to listen to my audios. Your site and app are in need of complete overhauls imo.

repeatedly have to uninstall and reinstall the app to get it to load pictures and audio. when you finally do get it working, it will randomly "unload" everything in the middle of playback. I've had to reinstall it 5 times today alone. fix please now. UPDATE: the best part of this experience is that when you try to just use the website instead of the app, it says "this media is not playable on your browser. please use the app." an audio file isn't playable on the website? fix that too.

update: it's working, yes, sort of. The queue repopulates itself randomly, so be sure to clear it before each use if you don't want another to immediately start when a podcast ends. the app has been buggy at best. it started randomly playing queued items recently but there were no controls. finally, after some back and forth, uninstalling and reinstalling multiple times, etc. a queue control showed up today. I was able to clear the default queue and for now it seems to be working.

Every day, I swear they make this app worse. There used to be an easy way to download content without clicking into the content, but that's gone. Now, on top of that, clicking into the content to, say, read the description or download it for later, auto starts the media, interrupting what I'm actively listening to, and there's no setting to turn that off! LET THE USER CONTROL WHAT HAPPENS! DO NOT MAKE THE DECISIONS FOR US! YOUR DECISIONS ARE BAD!

Though I did have my review at a 5 Star rating initially, I'm frustrated and confused: about 4 days ago I started receiving posts and notifications showing off the artist artwork, but I was not able to see nor view any of the artwork even though the artwork was free for all non premium users to view. I don't know if it was an error in an update or a setting I accidentally changed, but this issue needs to be resolved ASAP. And I checked on their online website and the images came up just fine.
