We've used this service several times now, and they're a great intermediate between the unknown and before the veterinary visit. (This does not replace a veterinarian.)
Although initially when I downloaded this application I believe that I was going to be speaking with a licensed vet and getting prescriptions if needed. I was incorrect and you actually only speak with "veterinary professionals," which in my case was a LVT. She was awesome!! She was informative, thorough, patient, empathetic, and personable which I absolutely loved and appreciated. She gave great advice and recommendations and never went beyond her scope of veterinary care.
This is a joke!! Not a reliable source for vet care! I did the online evaluation and ordered what the "vet" suggested for flea & heartworm medication, used the links provided to order through Walmart. Now my order has been canceled because the prescription cannot be verified. For advertising more convenient pet care for a fraction of the cost only to find out that legally they are prohibited from writing prescriptions is ridiculous! They can only fill existing prescriptions from your vet!!
Pawp was a newly discovered service as part of being a Walmart plus member. I was extremely surprised & excited to find this benefit while looking into my streaming service benefit! I had to use the service at that very moment for one of my fur babies. The service was outstanding, personable, and quick! Thank you, Dr. Plamena, for your service & assistance! 💖🤗
can not log in at all. pawp doesn't recognize my phone number or email when I try to.'log in' it won't let me reset my password....it says a user with my email already exists. but won't log me in or reset password
Having this appointment with Pawp through the chat has been so helpful! Dr. Mauricio helped me figure out what I needed to do with and for my 25 year old cat. He also helped me figure out what I need to say & ask my vet when I call to make the appt. I'm feeling much more content regarding some of the things my cat is doing and what I'm doing for him. Thank goodness for the Pawp. This is not something I would normally sign up for. I decided to take a chance and it was worth it!:+)
Don't waste your time with this service. When you actually try to use the emergency vet bill reimbursement they will respond after giving them everything "Your claim was closed out because we previously requested the missing medical records from the treatment submitted for, and it was not provided. As explained in our policy, all Emergency Protection Applications require a complete and full medical record for every submitted treatment. Your claim lacks this information and cannot be processed"
paid for a virtual visit but can't get the prescription filled because they don't give an actual prescription or vet license number and you'd have to jump through hoops for them to reach out to your pharmacy or for the pharmacy to get in contact with them. they have the option to buy the medicine through the app but it's not even their own supplier it's a third party supplier that you'll have the same issue with. not worth the hassle.
my little girl's care team we're amazing the address to all my concerns and issues with her health problems going on the guided me in the right direction of making sure that she gets back to her healthy self. I'm very glad that I signed up with this app. Dr Grace was absolutely amazing!!!!! I will definitely be recommending this app to all of my friends that have fur babies.
Nice people, but I dont see the point. I tried the app because it was free through my Walmart + to ask some questions about a kitten I got that has diarrhea. I was trying to get info on worm treatments, and instead, i got a list of things that it could be other than worms, and i should bring her to a vet. Unhelpful. They just tell you to bring them to the vet. She didn't seem to want to help and was happy to direct me elsewhere
I got a free year so decided to sign up. For the most part, it seems good. You can talk to an emergency vet whenever, get a care plan, and so on. However, it won't let me add notes about my pets. My cat needs a specific flea and tick medication due to skin allergies, but it won't allow me to specify that, and it automatically matches you with a flea and tick medicine that you can't change. I also can't go back and add allergies or anything else after completing the original assessment.
RIP OFF! DO NOT SIGN UP FOR ANY FREE OFFERS! I downloaded it when I was with T-Mobile and they gave a free year subscription! Well 1st off their charges are 20 times higher than my local vet. And I never used it and when the 1 year free was over, I didn't get any notice reminding me that the Free subscription was ending and they billed my bank account and I never gave them any of my bank info. T-Mobile gave it to them. And forget about customer service and getting reimbursed! SCAM ! 0 STARS
The services are great, the UI's instructions are weird for the day of pet visits. it tells you when there's going to be a checkup, but it's impossible to determine when. I would much rather prefer to be able to say at 1500, rather than check when it allows me to press the "begin visit" button at what seems like a random time. I will say around 10:00am, the UI changed from "visit: today" to "visit: this evening." Still vague as hell.
This app was part of a promotion from T-mobile. I quickly realized the services offered would not meet my needs and never used it. I was very surprised to learn they charged me for a year renewal. I immediately attempted to contact customer service, which they make it difficult to do, and was told they would cancel my account but not refund my money on an account that have never been used. Be very aware of what you are getting into before you download this app!!
I was 76th in line to chat with a care specialist, and it said about a 1 minute wait. It said 1 minute wait for a half hour before someone was connected to me. Once they connected, the app wouldn't allow me to respond in the chat box. So frustrating. Also, just don't bother with this app. They can't actually do anything for your pet, just bring them to the vet
Pretty disappointed. Any issue basically results in being sent to a vet. I thought the whole point was to get help from a vet online without having to go. No real diagnosis is done. It's like a "we make you feel better app by chatting with you". I also never received a reminder for the annual renewal. They charged $99 for another year and claim to send reminders. After a day I canceled and contacted them and got their emails instantly. They refuse to ever refund anything! Terrible practice!!!
If I could leave a less than 1 star review, I would. Tried canceling on exact same day as renewal date & was told they would not refund the $99 fee! It is ridiculous that fee would not be returned or at least some type of compromise, being that it was on same day. I would understand if it was even a day later not being refunded. Customer service was extremely rude & of no help. This app is of no use to me & I never even used my free trial period from T-mobile. Don't waste time on this app!
It's a great idea... but the "check-up" questions are waaay too generic! What works for my 3 yr old girl is not remotely the same for my 20 yr old boy! They really need to work on being more adaptable to what people say about their animals. Then they constantly hound you for these checkups... my cats are indoor cats, nothing changes! & they don't need flea treatments! I should be able to choose how often I think I need to do this. Twice a year is more than sufficient for me.
