Very poor. You have probably accidentally sabotaged the ability to send the receiver of any money a note. The note can not be seen at all while it is being written. You have to click about 3 things to see what words that you are hoping that you are sending and then go back to the keyboard with a couple more clicks. It is terrible so I Hope you can fix it ASAP!!!
Annoying app. Many features buried in random places in the UI, it's like navigating a maze. Wanted to change my monthly auto-transfer amount to $10, just to find out that they won't let you do it through their buggy website. So I download the app. I finally find where the setting is, just to find out that they are now forcing you to make it $25 or above. Paypal is not important enough for me to be routing that much money through them. This platform makes for an absolutely rancid experience.
Hating PayPal now. They have done everything in their power to make this the most inconvenient app now. It was fine the way it was just needed a few tweaks. Good luck shopping online and keeping your privacy when sharing or paying online. How about each time you try to pay online they make you change your password? Talk about frustrating. Good luck trying to keep yourself safe and secure online. I've expressed my concerns, they don't care so I may be leaving after a long time commitment.
they take security settings way too far. it makes it extremely difficult for me to use, just thinking about withdrawing all of my money and deleting my account. adding PayPal to anything shouldn't ever be this HARD. I'm in a situation where I don't have access to a phone number, and there's no email confirmation option. it's utterly ridiculous to rely on a phone number. the debit card works though, too bad it's utterly useless for anything online. also the fees are way too much, double dippers.
PayPal is seriously one of the most convenient apps for managing money online. It’s quick, secure, and makes sending or receiving payments a breeze, whether you’re shopping, freelancing, or splitting bills with friends. I appreciate how easy it is to link different accounts and keep track of transactions all in one place. Overall, PayPal just takes the hassle out of digital payments and gives me peace of mind every time I use it.
This app has never been the best, but at least I could see my activity easily and at a single glance. After being FORCED to update the app (I won't use the word 'upgrade') I'm now presented with a page full of adverts and have to jump through a few hoops to just see my activity. Stop trying to copy Microsoft and then add multiple extra clicks to do what could be done easily before. Seriously not impressed. Now angers me when I use it.
I have not been able to transfer my 36 dollars out of my account to my card in about a week now. I have repeatedly tried to transfer it with different cards, went and updated all my apps, edited settings, I even tried to switch devices and I STILL CANNOT TRANSFER OUT MY MONEY. PLEASE FIX THIS!!!! I've done all the things to try and fix what's wrong, so this is my last resort.
Buying crypto through PayPal is easy, but transferring it out has been a frustrating nightmare. Twice my withdrawals were blocked for 7 days, leaving me without access and no clear explanation. The first customer service rep was fantastic and helpful. The second was clueless, unhelpful, and dismissive. Blocking withdrawals without answers is unacceptable. It is far easier, faster, and more reliable to buy crypto through major exchanges.
It's nearly impossible to verify the e-mail of people that you've had transactions with before - I had to search for the e-mail; I couldn't just view it on someone's profile. 2025-10-01: My review stands. You can't verify e-mails when selecting an account to send money to, and the premature 'send' button makes you think you're sending the money and that's it, when you still do get to choose G&S or F&F and a shipping address on the next screen.
It takes hours to log into your account because of their stupid security check. 20 different "pick the pictures with the bikes, the motorcycles, the buses, the crosswalks" over and over and over again. Finally get to log in, try to transfer any money and they make you do it AGAIN. Over and over and over again! And now, I can't add money to my account. Customer support said it was an issue with cash app. they lied cause I tried a different card, same thing. Worthless app!!!
