So here's my honest take on PDF Scanner app - TapScanner. I've tested a bunch of PDF apps and this one's definitely one of the more full-featured ones. The scanning quality is great, the editing tools are comprehensive, and the OCR works really well. It's not quite as slick as some of the premium PDF apps out there, but for a free tool it punches above its weight. The only real downsides are the occasional UI hiccups and the ads if you don't pay. But overall, I'd say it's a pretty solid PDF toolkit that gets the job done.

Description

Been using PDF Scanner app – TapScanner for a couple months now. It’s basically a super versatile PDF tool that lets you scan, edit, and manage all your documents right on your phone. Pretty solid app if you’re into productivity and organization.

Here’s what you can do: there’s automatic edge detection and image correction to get clear, professional-looking scans of receipts, business cards, contracts, and even multi-page docs. It’s got a full PDF workspace too – you can merge, split, reorder, sign, and annotate PDFs all within the app. And the OCR text recognition is pretty neat, it can convert images into editable text in over 100 languages.

Look, if you deal with a lot of paperwork and PDFs, you’ll probably find this app really useful. It’s not perfect – the UI can be a bit clunky sometimes – but overall it gets the job done. Worth checking out if you need a powerful all-in-one PDF solution.

Is there another payment option other than weekly? I LOVE THIS APP!! I'm a member of the fire department and there are constant documents that need to be scanned right...

I wanted to use this app to take clear pictures for my assignments. Who would have thought that after watching 2-3 ads you can only "share" 5 pictures per day...
