Reviews for Peacock TV: Stream TV & Movies

what's the point of having a profile passcode when it doesn't work? We have 3 profiles. 2 have a password. after leaving the app, it should lock the profile right? not peacock. you have to switch the profile before exiting the app otherwise it's free game. this is both on phone, Android TV, and Chromecast. submitted this defect a couple times over the last year and still not fixed. if this wasn't included with my internet service I'd cancel and 1 star

One of the poorest and unfair streaming apps ever. Very few Premier league matches available and the replay until the next day and now you have to PAY MORE to watch a replay. What are they thinking??? The worst movie selection I have seen in any streaming app with no new movies in a very very long time. For the original shows... simply avoid them.

Have to watch ads (beyond regular commercials) prior to loading live sports. Commentators always seem like they're from the B-list. When the announcer tells you to change the station because "this game is over", I don't think that's their job... terrible. Also, it's obvious that they're trying to force this to happen... the commercials are SO repetitive. Over and over, the same commercials.

I only got the service to watch Poker Face. The amount of ads on a paid service is truly ridiculous. In addition, pausing for an extended period (more than a moment or three) means you'll get an additional ad or two. And if you pause a few minutes, chances are decent it'll start the whole episode over, so I'll have to fast forward, sit through more ads, and hope I've gotten close to where I was before. If I have to FF more, guess what? MORE ADS!! Canceling as soon as I finish the series.

Monthly subscription up $3 but my ability to cast is completely gone. Before the monthly increase I would be streaming and the app would disconnect from my TV. When this would happen, I finally figured out I had to close out of the app and then open it back up to sync up again. Most of the time this happened, my app wouldn't reflect the episodes I'd previously watched. So then I would need to figure out where I was. I hope the CEO gave themselves a decent bonus for this garbage.

9/19/25 app is doing the weird thing againwhere it changes volume drastically down, for no reason, then it stays really low. i have to reset everything a lot. NBC has finally come out with some good stuff. And all these new shows have pretty awesome soundtracks to accompany them - pokerface and gross point as examples. WHY is it so freaking hard to find out the songs???? y'all probably already own the song rights, just list them in the extras tab. credits don't list the music, which is weird???

App is ok. nothing too specific but this review is more on the Peacock service itself. $6.99 to $7.99 and now to $10.99 for a basic ad-filled service? not even YouTube charges me for their ad-based service. I can even get Netflix with ads for a lot less. And a 40% increase in price is ridiculous.. there are other things to watch. Goodbye, Peacock.

Least user friendly app I've used in a while. You'd think with their wild pricing (4 ads per 20-minute episode or nearly double the price for none) they'd at least let me pause when casting from my phone whenever I would like to, and not have to disconnect and reconnect after watching for more than five minutes

Love Peacock, but mobile is trash! Need to pause or leave the app for a moment? You'll go back to an ad even if you just watched it. Or it completely starts your episode over. Every. Time. Then guess what that means when you fast forward to where you were? Re-watching MORE ads! I get that I have cut back on subs so I'm paying less for the ad version and I'm fine with watching ads where they are within the episodes, but constantly having to rewatch because the app can't get it together is not it.

don't buy into a Peacock subscription. They LIE and say there are no ads in certain tiers, but it's not true. For the first 5 or 6 months of my subscription, there were zero ads, and then slowly there was one or so here and there and now there's one every couple of minutes. and it's not just me, read through the other reviews, they've swindled many others this way. I paid for a year, but I haven't been able to stand it because the ads are so frequent and annoying. Untrustworthy service!
