Been using PeakVisor – 3D Maps & Peaks ID for a couple months now. It’s basically a super detailed app for exploring mountains and outdoor areas. Pretty solid if you’re into hiking, climbing, skiing, or any kind of outdoor activities.
Here’s what you can do: there’s crazy accurate 3D maps that show all the peaks, trails, and terrain. You can identify peaks and mountains just by pointing your phone at them. And it’s got GPS tracking so you can see where you are on the map and plan your routes. Took me a while to figure out all the features but it’s really useful once you get the hang of it.
Look, if you spend a lot of time outdoors, you’ll probably get a lot of use out of PeakVisor. It’s not perfect – the app can be a little buggy sometimes and the free version has some limitations. But overall it’s a pretty great tool for navigating the mountains.
