Reviews for Pedometer – Step Counter

Works great. Best, most accurate step count.. trust me I personally counted my steps for 1 mile 3 separate times & compared my count to the app!! it was accurate down to only a 3% margin of error! And that was using the lower battery consumption settings, which it tells u is slightly less accurate..., However, 1 separate time I again counted for a mile, but this time I put the settings to their most accurate settings and found that it was only better by about 1-1.5 %! AWESOME Pedometer App free!

Easy to use. Works daily without having to open on my one plus 3T. Needs a widget though to display steps without opening. I'd be willing to pay just to have a widget. UPDATE 5.12.21: This app went from not working really well to working almost 100% of the time. You have to make sure it has started. I've set mine up to not be active when I'm sleeping. Sometimes it has not turned itself back on in the morning. My only complaint is I have to check that it has started and is counting.

I love this app and keep it programmed to track all my steps when I am walking or running. It logs my milage, number of steps, duration time, miles per hour, and calories burned. You can look at the totals for days, weeks, and months as well as keep these logs for you. This app is adjustable to what users need. Be sure to give your personal data the first day before using in order to get accurate results for yourself everyday. Buses can be recorded, so adjust the speed graph. Have fun!

The pedometer keeps stopping. In order to get it to record, I have to remember to open it and click "start." I had a pedometer app on my other phone that automatically recorded all my steps every day. I didn't have to keep reminding it to do so. I've yried this one on several settings with no luck. I'm uninstalling it and will try another one.

The pedometer worked GREAT when I started using it (I've used it for a few months), but about a week or so ago, it quit counting most of my steps! Today for example, I physically counted 314 steps (including going up and down my stairs) and it only counted 103 steps! I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it, hoping it would help, but it has recorded ZERO steps since reinstallation. The app did recently update on my phone and I don't know if the update has anything to do with it or not.

This is a simple, reliable app. It counts steps and keeps track of daily, weekly, and monthly totals. It also provides a simple graph for each step statistic. Other numbers tracked: milage, speed, and time spent walking. I just moved my Pedometer logs from my old phone to my new one. I had to message the Developer for some help but I got a quick response and the instructions worked! This app helps me stay on top of my activity and stay fit. :)

No WiFi/No Work. The app is inconsistent. I take the same route every day and it gives a different distance each day. The calories burned and pace are helpful. However, I question the data accuracy when the app can not be consistent with the distance walked each day. The constant demand for a rating is annoying. The app has to be closed and reopened to get out of the demand for a rating.

Pretty legit little app right here. Does exactly what it says it does, right in the background, every day, and you won't even notice it's there. It seems to be pretty accurate for what it is... I have a higher end step counting wristband, and I decided to try comparing the results of the two... And of the three 1+ hr test walks, the biggest difference was just a little over 10 steps. Not bad at all! I imagine though how different phones and how you have them in your pocket will make or break it..

Update: I find it difficult to get an accurate step count. Most of the apps out there are for equipment you have to buy which are not cheap. This app makes use of you smartphone sensors to sense your motion and includes adjustments for sensitivity and accuracy. It includes calculations for calories burned, speed and distance you walk. It even includes hour by hour recording of the number of steps you take as well as daily, weekly & monthly records. Not bad for a free app.

I had this app for about two years and it worked great. Then android did a major update and it worked spotty at best so I uninstalled it . Over the next few weeks I tried several different pedometers, some were rated higher or were editors choice and none came close to as good as this one. It gives you steps taken, speed, time walked, distance and calories burned. It doesn't talk to you, do their social media or connect to a smart watch. I have reinstalled it and works perfect again.
