Reviews for Pet Care Tracker - Dog Cat App

← Back to Pet Care Tracker - Dog Cat App

This app won't let me upload pictures into my cat's album like it suggests you can! I am only able to submit 1 picture for each pet I have stored into file. Otherwise it's a neat idea for appointment reminders and updates on their weight. Also the history facts don't give much information worthy of reading. Nice ideas though if edited better.

Good app so far. I'm still learning the features but the layout is cute. I wish that clicking "hide" on the ads in the menus briefly hid them instead of bringing up the option for premium. Being able to briefly hide an ad would help make it easier to review the vaccines and other items in the menus.

I really like this app. I was looking for something that could help me give the best care to my cats. It lets you track weight, vaccines, and vet appointments. I would love it even more if the developer could add a page that helps you calculate how much to feed your animals. I'm not particularly worried about calorie intake. I'm more worried about how much I give them and what it is they are eating. Something that helps you calculate health benefits and deficits of different foods combined.

I love this app - I have multiple rescue pets and keeping track of everyone mentally is tough. plus, having this data helps at vet appointments. I love that you can add photos, events of any kind (medication, walk in the park, bath) and health metrics like weight and vomit/diarrhea. very grateful for this app, I've been telling a lot of folks about it!

If I could give a 4.5 I would, but I'll round up because the pros outweigh the cons. This app allows me to track and add everything I need. I'm not using every feature, but the ones that matter most to me such a tracking vet visits, grooming, and vaccines I can do. One thing on this app I haven't seen elsewhere that is AMAZING is being able to add vaccines and other customizable fields, in addition to the presets. I would like the interface to look more seemless and modern though.

This app is amazingZING!! Thank you developers, I can tell you have pets! I have a senior Bichon with food and poop issues, and my vet wanted me to document the food and the poops, and with this awesome app, it makes it easy and convenient to record pictures, times, it also tracks so much more like shots, vomits, meds, a whole range of issues- check it out! I appreciate that it's free, too. Can I buy you a coffee?

The subscription free version does just about everything I need/want, except for the ads. I'd be willing to pay a one-time fee ($5-$10) for an ad free version of the app. None of the subscription features are anything I would use, other than removing the ads and possibly saving documents locally, instead of uploading.

I absolutely love this app! It's so convenient to have all my pets' medication details tracked in one place. The monthly photo albums are a fantastic feature and many more—I enjoy looking back and seeing how my pets have changed over time. It's not only great for cherishing memories but also for analysing any differences I might have missed. Highly recommend this app to all pet lovers!

This is exactly the app I have been looking for now for a very long time. I have several pets, and it's difficult to keep medical stuff straight sometimes, so this is perfect. I can add so much information just in the free vs. and I tried it for a week just to see how I would like it. Only ran into one concern and contacted the developer on the chat about it. He got back with me very quickly and explained how it worked, which was silly on my part, but it's actually genius. 100% recommend!

With 6 aging/ailing furkids, I've been looking for something to replace my notepad to track meds, symptoms, weights, etc, and this app is proving perfect. I haven't upgraded yet to the paid version, but plan to... I love the possibility of more customizations, searchability, and of course... No ads. 😆 Big thanks to the developers!

Been using it for about a week and was loving it, however, the weight tracking feature is not working anymore. Every time I enter a new weight for my pup, it saves it as "zero". I've restarted my phone and checked for a new update but that didn't fix the bug. Help? Edit: within just a couple hours of my comment, the bug was fixed and my app is working perfectly again! Awesome stuff!!! Thank you so much!!

It does what it says on the tin, and I need to track my cat's weight, so I like the reminder. Yes, I could do it myself, but apparently right now I need an app to assist. I don't mind the ads on the free version because, at least so far, they haven't been pop ups or anything that prevents you from using the app. Overall, I haven't found any bugs, but the developer seems responsive to when others do, which is great

This is a direct quote from a reply i sent to the developer: "No problem. You actually replied so.. happy about that! Also this is a great app! I will leave one and it's not so bad once you get used to it. I've got lots of animals and this has exactly what i needed in an app for them thank you!" So just make it a little more easier to add another person, maybe a mass add for all your animals.

I just got my puppy a couple days ago and was looking for an app to track her eating, sleeping, bathroom, and playing/training. I tried a couple other apps but they all had issues. This app is perfect and I haven't had any issues. It's easy to add event logs, pictures, medications, etc. The free version works great for me so I imagine that the premium version is awesome too. Wonderful app its exactly what I needed.

This is an amazing little app, especially being free. It is not just for Dog and Cats. There are so many other pet types you can add! I added my horses. And if a particular care item isn't already set you can make a custom one. It has a very cute theme as well and the developer is very quick to respond. The free version you will have an ad to look at and if you add custom items will have to do it for each pet, but we do need to remember it is free and I think it is amazing.

Love it so far, there are some features I would suggest implementing though. For instance, I'd like to set specific times to repeat scheduled events rather than every X mins/hrs/days/etc.. I use this to remind me about potty breaks, but setting the schedule to repeat every 3hrs also means it does so at night when they're asleep. I'd also like if events for multiple pets could be marked completed for all pets in one step rather than marking them individually. Overall great app, just a few kinks.

Update: if I could add a 6th star I would! We had a minor issue (that turned out to be a user error) and the app developer was able to walk me through a solution very quickly through the in app chat option which I was able to screenshot and send to my partner who was the one with the issue. Fast response and resolution! This app keeps us from making medication mistakes! Love this app ! We use for reminders for several different medications for our dog. 2 users, free version. So far so good!

I've spent a good amount of time playing around and exploring this app and it's been great. I have yet to find a feature I want that it doesn't have. Most importantly though, it's easy to navigate, easy to add info, and looks good. I would like to see better/different access to pictures (Google photos is meh). I also wonder if the "flash" that happens when changing screens can be removed. Even with those things, no hesitation to give five stars. Great work! 👍👍

nice app to have when your pet is sick! generally pretty good except for some wonky UI things (like having to scroll through dates instead of type them in and category selections being difficult to find). one suggestion: allow to upload PDFs in the same way you can upload photos so there's a record of vet discharge instructions, emails, etc to refer to

Awesome little free app to track all my pets' weights. It also tracks their ages down to the month (or week depending on age). I got it to keep better track of the weights of my pets so they can lose the couple of pounds recommended by the vet, but not be underweight either. Or just maintain their weight. I haven't really started using any other features like the records, vaccinations, reminders, calendar, etc. but I think it would be smart to do for myself if I started using them lol
