Reviews for PetDesk – Pet Health Reminders

This app is just all right. It's functional for what it does, but that's the point: it doesn't do much. It can be more powerful. For instance, we should be able to fully access ALL pet med records instead of entering them manually. !! We should also be able to pay on a bill directly from the app. I can almost keep better records on paper. It's sad that app developers have zero vision for the prospects of technological reach because they're too obsessed with rotten AI. Integration of accounts!

The ease of use and flexibility of the app is great. I can add all of my pets, their different specialists and so much more. The ability to be able to have their chip information in a quick and easy to use app is helpful. When different clinics send notifications that lab results, etc. are available, that information does not always show up in a timely manner. Other than that it is easier than checking my calendar for up coming appointments, etc. I would like a medication reminder.

First impressions of this app are not good. The first thing I try to do is enter information and this is one clunky mess. For example, you want to input a birthday, you can't simply punch in the date, you have to scroll forever thru a graphic calendar which doesn't let you move to a certain year directly. I had to hit the month arrow over 50 times to get to my pet's birth-date. This is truly amateur hour here. I also can't scroll up or down the list while entering info. I MUST click the "next" arrow on the virtual keyboard. What??? I am going to find it hard to trust the integrity of this app if the programmers can't even put half an effort into the interface. Now I find that I can't input an appointment that I made by phone? Like I said, this whole app is one hot mess. I'm going to uninstall and hopefully, someday, they'll hire a programmer who can make an app friendly. As it is, it's mostly useless.

The app helps me keep track of important information about my pets. Of the apps I've tested, I like this one best. Some might find the app visually unappealing and certain aspects not particularly user friendly. There are only a few things I wish it had (or I'm unaware of if it does): A way to note if a pet has passed away without having to actually remove them. If you could sync/share data with another user. The ability export data into a text based document.

I'm sure this is a very nice and helpful app with a participating provider. UI seems great. However, if you already have a vet, that vet doesn't use petdesk, and you're not looking to change vets, get a task management/productivity app and don't waste your time. It's well-done but read-only, and without the integrated health data, the task/reminder system is simply nothing special, and you'll get more mileage out of a general purpose system.

My vet office told me about this app and were fairly new to it. I can honestly say it has been extremely beneficial. You can have all your pets, any meds they're on (you can even set reminders!) You can upload a picture and customize each animals profile. My favorite part is the fact that you can schedule, cancel or reschedule appts without a phone call. The other perk, you can request results and they will do that for you as well and you get a text from the app reminding you of any of it. You c

This is such a great app. You can schedule appointments, purchase meds and have them shipped right to your door, all with a few clicks! It puts you in direct contact with your vet for any questions or concerns. I use it frequently and really like how easy the app is to navigate. The addition of being able to add your pets pic to their profile is cool as well. It's also extremely handy as the app will send you reminders of appts or med refills when they're due.

When I first installed this app, I wasn't completely sure if I'd ever use it. Then back in January, I had to take my cat to the e-vet. Having her most recent lab results at my fingertips helped them establish a baseline which was really important because we almost lost her. Since then, I've used it more. It's helped me keep a closer eye on her labs & order prescription refills with zero hassle. The notifications letting me know when she's due for more tests are incredibly helpful, too.

PetDesk is really useful for making appointments and ordering prescription refills for our many cats! Also, I get reminders when it's time for yearly exams and vaccinations and notifications (like holiday hours or if one of the doctors is out for a few days). I like that I can review each pet's veterinary visit history in their individual profiles. This is a very helpful tool for both pet owners and the vet's office!

Pet desk is nearly as good as my own patient portal. Nearly all my pet info is there, tests, meds (including what they are for), when I got the meds, and important reminders. I can set up new appointments and text the vet questions. It would be nice if I didn't need to input basic profile info that my own clinic would automatically create using their records (breed, food type/brand, age, & previous medical history) that I have already provided to the vet. Not really a problem tho.
