Description
Been using Phases of the Moon Pro for a couple months now. It’s basically a 3D simulation app that lets you track the phases of the moon. Pretty solid if you’re into stargazing and moon-watching.
Here’s what you do: you can swipe back and forth to see the moon go through its different phases. There’s also a monthly calendar that shows what the moon will look like each day. And the app gives you all the data you need – moon rise/set times, illumination, zodiac location, even the distance to the moon. It’s got a really nice, elegant design too.
Look, if you’re into astronomy and want a cool way to track the moon, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the ads can be a bit annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.
Editor Opinion
So here's my take on Phases of the Moon Pro. I've tested a bunch of moon tracking apps and this one's one of the better ones. The 3D simulation is really impressive and fun to play with. I like all the data it brings too - it scratches that geeky astronomy itch. The only downside is it can get a little repetitive after a while. But if you're a moon lover, this is a pretty solid option.
