So here's my honest take on Phoner 2nd Phone Number + Text. I've tested a bunch of privacy and burner number apps, and this one's pretty solid. The multiple numbers feature is really handy, and I like that you can keep your personal number private. The call recording is a nice bonus too. But the ads can get old after a while, and the number lookup isn't the most intuitive. Overall though, it's a pretty good option if you need a 2nd number.

Pros

  • Gives you multiple new phone numbers to use
  • Lets you keep your personal number private
  • Call recording is a nice feature
  • Free to use, don't have to pay for the basics

Cons

  • Ads can get annoying if you don't pay
  • Number lookup feature could be easier to use
  • Might be overkill if you only need a 2nd number occasionally

Description

Been using Phoner 2nd Phone Number + Text for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that gives you a second phone number to use for stuff like buying and selling online, so you don’t have to give out your personal number. Pretty solid app if you’re into that kind of thing.

Here’s what you do: You can get multiple new phone numbers to use for different parts of your life – like one for business, one for social stuff, and so on. And there’s also call recording, which is pretty cool. And there’s a number lookup feature – took me a while to figure that out but it’s useful.

Look, if you’re into keeping your personal number private, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the ads can be annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.

multiple times I have not received credits should have not even weeks later when I checked back. They're just scamers like the rest except text now.

The prices aren't bad at all, $10 a month will get you talk and text plus you get to choose your number from a list. If you don't like those...
