Reviews for PhotoShare Frame v2
← Back to PhotoShare Frame v2Thankful that I can save and show my precious photos. One of the best gifts I ever received . love looking at the slide show of my family.🥰
my biggest problem is that they scroll through the same sequence every day the best time for me to see the pictures is in the evening, and I seem to see the same ones every evening
Grandparents love their frame and the whole family sends photos to it. Sometimes the app does not seem to recognize all my photos in my camera roll so I can't always send everything that I want to send, but overall the app works pretty well and the experience is enjoyable for all. As others have said, I wish I could see which photos I have already sent.
wish there was a way to make the picture thumbnails bigger like maybe two pictures per row, instead of having to click on the thumbnail and view the picture.
this app and the frame that goes with it is great. pictures come out clear and you can add highlights. love it.
I haven't used the email option yet, but I made my way through the initial setup and transferring photos through the app. Not clear as day, but I'm figuring it out.
This is a great app. It would be even better if there were some way to find out if you've already uploaded a picture so that you don't get duplicates.
We enjoy looking at our grandchildren pictures all the time on our family frame. It's easy to use and we love it. just had our new great great grand baby and love our frame. we are now great great grandparents and we love showing them off to everyone.
Would have put five stars if the app allowed you to filter out some albums in your photos. Or, if this is possible to set up in the app, it would be nice if it was intuitive/easier to do. I have looked around in different settings/places, but I can't find anything. Other than that small gripe, the app is outstanding! It has been super-easy to send photos to my parents frame from half a world away. Very pleased!
Bought a non-disney brookstone frame. The setup linked me to the old app, but the old app wouldn't recognize the frame ID. Support had me install this version. Functionality is a huge step down over the old, tons of missing features and it's super weird I have to use a "disney" app for a non-disney frame. This looks like a placeholder for a major rewrite of the old app (v3 to v4), but for some reason the frame devices were updated to only work with this version. What a mess!
Developed by people that don't care. First of all, it asks for way too much access to your phone. Why does it need location? The link in the email goes to an old app. The instructions state passwords must have upper and lower case and numbers. You must also have special characters. Anyway, this app was not made by a serious company at the very least. At the most, it's a security risk.
So far so good! Photos don't always load instantly, but I've found that disconnecting and reconnecting the frame to the wifi helps with that. Haven't quite figured out how to get videos to play in a slideshow, but it's so cool to have framed photos that my family can send me! :) Explore all the settings andI have faith I'll figure it all out soon.
It doesn't work. During set up when adding a new frame to send photos to after being invited to do so the frame ID is not recognized. Dead in the water at that point. Photos cannot be shared unless done so through email from a desktop. That defeats the purpose of easily being able to share photos. Frame simply becomes a clock. No customer support. Phone number listed in app is a dead end. No response to emails. If things aren't resolve I will return frame during the return window.
I have a few suggestions to improve the app or the frame in general... 1. Option to lock the frame to avoid accidental changes. 2. Photo count. I currently have to manually count how many photos are on the frame. 3. Ability to add photos from Instagran, Facebook, Google Photos, etc... The same way that it can easily be done when creating many photo books. I am also currently having trouble with setting the on/off times when away from home.
Very disappointed with the app. It will not populate ALL the photos that were sent to my frame. If I want to edit photos, they have to be done 1 at a time. then wait again for the photos to download on the app - and only about 50% of them show up. Would like to be able to send photos from facebook and google, The app settings won't save. Set the brightness and the timer for auto on and off, but they default back to original settings. The website doesn't recognize my frame id and i cannot login.
Love the photo frames. We own several. Originally we we able to send 14 or less second videos, so we have one frame dedicated to videos. Since their update a year or more ago, that is no longer available. Despite multiple follow-ups, they still haven't fixed it or brought that option back. Really unhappy for that reason, otherwise they'd get 5 stars.
When it works, it's fine, but about 99% of the time, the app won't load my pictures from my photo gallery. I'm lucky if 2 or 3 pictures out of 50 show up. It really defeats the purpose if I can't pull up the photos I want to send to my family. I have also checked that the app is updated (it is) and tried un-installing and re-installing the app. Same issues.
I love this. I've had one for several years and never had an issue. It looks like a normal picture frame as each picture scrolls thru. The pictures are so clear......like a photograph. I accidentally knocked this off the table twice and it still works perfectly. Not that I'd recommend doing that, lol. If you're considering one of these, don't. It's like having a lifetime of beautiful memories every single day. I absolutely love mine.
Love the frame but the app is a bit challenging. I have 2 frames and periodically they "mix" photos (so my work pics migrate onto my home frame. Also having issues with the on off times. Even though I have a separate schedule for each frame I routinely have to unplug the one at home and turn the work one on by hand. Otherwise, I love the frame (so much that I bought two!)
