Things change. And friends leave. Life doesn’t stop for anybody. The app shuts down (disapears). This is only in the last month I've noticed. Something is going on and it needs to get fixed. This app is now completely useless as I cannot open it without it shutting down within seconds, let alone selecting a recipient or typing a message. I've uninstalled and reinstalled. When someone loves you, the way they talk about you is different. You feel safe and comfortable. This too, shall pass.

This app still feels shady. I was hoping it would give me a reason to trust it after a while, but it hasn't. It's cool that you can turn off ads, but it tells me if I don't verify my phone number, then I forfeit all my pi. On top of that, you don't have a standard verification process. You make US send YOU a code instead of the other way around. The feature to recieve a code instead has been "Coming Soon" for a long time. Idk why, but that just feels shady to me.

Emailed support about issue weeks ago and never heard back about the issue. Seems small, but after changing phones(now Pixel 6, was Pixel 3) I no longer get notifications to resume mining... I remember to check, maybe, once a week without the simple reminder. I have gone over all the setting in the app and in the phone to insure all notifications from this app are on several times, and it still doesn't do it. Still get the notification on the old phone if I keep it charged... Frustrating!

I haven't shown up in the earning team of people who've used my code. Adding people to your earning team is buggy. Adding people to the security circle is buggy. You can't see all of your account info. I've reached out to support about some of my issues multiple times and didn't get a response. Edited: ads aren't really a problem because after you disable them, they don't really ever come back even though it says it will after 2 weeks.

I believe this app has helped some people make money. It has a decent interface. Some texts run into others (like the mining and share buttons) but it is simple to navigate. However, I can't create a wallet. It says errors like, "enter pass phrase","just created wallet wait 24hr", and "there are no slots available, you will be contacted when one opens up". It said to mine 30 times to quality for KYC also ... So I'm cancelling my referrals and uninstalling. Good luck fellow Miners!

To be a part of a viable coin prior to launch, that is truly based on participation and scarcity is amazing! I have been able to participate in a BETA format so to speak, and have indeed received Pi for value of product. Looking forward to being a part of this continued growth. I don't mind the ads when I have to log back in to mine, it's part of the process to support the coins growth.

I switched phones (the battery started to balloon in my old). Same phone number. I have all my Pi Network account info. There is literally no way to log in to an existing account. The app only wants to let me make a new account. If this is the sort of technical oversight this crytpo developer allows to pass, it does not bode well for the quality of the service. I have mined over 120 PI before having to switch phones, apparently that's all lost now. Google search revealed others have same problem, none of them ever got resolved. For that reason, this app is a complete waste of time. You can't access your account if your device changes.

100% sure this app is a scam. The only "mining" going on is of your contact info and social graph, and ad revenue from ads that are still displayed even when you have supposedly turned them off in the settings. The app uses no battery and practically no data, so there is obviously nothing going on. You can't add anyone by their username and instead have to sync your entire contact list, but even after doing so, it doesn't show anyone as being a user, despite the fact that I know at least two.

Had an account for over a year mined a load of coins. Had to get a new phone but if you didn't use Facebook you lose everything. Phone number won't allow me to regain it. No real sign in option. You lose the phone with the app and you lose everything. Wasted my time for nothing cause they can't design an app properly. That's the first thing they should have made sure was that you could log in from other devices if need be.

Just installed the app and I think it's a really cool concept so we'll see what happens. Extremely easy install and setup. Just make sure to keep your mining session active by checking in every 24hrs. which is literally a click of a button. The Pi app has been great for me. I even ran a node for Pi for a while. I have had 3 phones in 3 years and no problems transferring my account. There are ads in the app but they can be turned off. Also, you do not need to keep the app running in the background start mining then kill the app. see a lot of complaints about settings and adds, RTFM! There is a Q/A section on their website use it that's where I go when I need help.

The interface is clean and easy to use. That white paper? It's one of the rare ones that actually carries weight and makes sense long-term. Big moves are coming from this team, I can feel it. Personally, the Pi app has been excellent. I even ran a Pi node for a while. Over the past three years and three phones, I’ve had zero trouble moving my account. Yes, ads exist—but they can be shut off. You also don’t need to keep the app open; just start mining, then close it. I’ve seen a lot of griping.

This app would be a lot better if you can have a timer to show us how many more hours minutes seconds we have till we have to push the button again to activate start mining. It would also be nice if when we send notifications or peeing everyone else under us. It would be nice if you can add to show a #or a red dot on their app to let them know they need to start mining again on their app.

Just lowered to 2 stars... C'mon, developers. At first, there were no ads. Now there are not only multiple 15+ second commercials per (daily) mining session, but there are ads that I CAN'T EVEN CLOSE (to go mine Pi). I had to close the window just to escape the ad and write this review. Seriously, I get that there is a tremendous opportunity for advertising revenue, but I have a higher expectation that to keep supporting the platform if you keep selling out THAT hard. I'll try again tomorrow.

YOU can turn OFF the ads! I have used this app for years. I have ads off and have never noticed any ads, ever. I have a security circle of my own. Each day I get a reminder to tell me to mine my pi. I have completed all required check-list requirements. I do not mind my reminder/notification or having to click "mine" once a day. I have always had the same phone. I can only hope this will continue if I get a new phone. So far I enjoy the app for its potential.

Love the concept and the app seems easy to use. There's still just some glitches. For example, I've confirmed my name 3 times now and the countdown is still there letting me know I only have 11 days left to confirm my name. And when you go through the process, it states you only get 1 chance to confirm your name. 2nd thing: the "Creator Content Series" is opened and frozen on my screen. I'm sure the smart guys at Stanford will continue to fix these little bugs. Thank you! 😊

It has definitely been a rough ride for me at least -- I've either forgotten my password, changed phones or didn't remember credentials, created new account(s) resulting in mixed results just getting to the original account, only fragmenting Pi I earned, spread out in several accounts. Come to find out, many of the people I helped sign up were in the same boat I was in, same sinking ship and of those several would-have-been-pioneers, 1 made it. Well, just my luck! We'll see how it all turns out.

For those of us who had funds blocked some time ago and still can't unblock them or make transfers, this is not fair. You should add an option to allow a percentage reduction if we have withdrawn something while they were blocked, but not to prevent access entirely until, for example, the end of 2027. That’s too long. Please add the option, as you have the ability to block them, so give us the possibility to unblock and transfer them.For everything else, we are fine.Thank you.

I was enjoying the Pi network. However, It always "encountered an error" when I try to create a wallet. It has been this way for me and 2 other friends for about a week. Nobodies answered our requests, I believe 7 days is a good time to wait. When I go back to the wallet area, it asks for my passphrase for my wallet.. . ? It never gave me one! It just says "encountered an error" and I have like 3 hours to try to create another. And then that one encounters an error, too!! I am pretty much done.
